Maenya POV
I was in my chambers, it was a few days after we had said goodbye to Alicent and my siblings, we were reading ourselves to leave too when Daemon entered
"Leave!" I demanded to the servants
"Have you heard?" I asked
He sat down opposite me and took my hand in his like it was normal
"I think everything in the seven kingdoms would've heard by now"
Laenor was dead, killed by his own lover and most likely by Rhaenyra so she can now marry Ser Harwin and finally have her children be legitimate.
A smart and a foolish move. Her children will be legitimate yes but now she has made an enemy of the Velaryons, the same people who stood by her just a few days before
