It was weird not having Tony calling every day just to annoy her, it was weird watching Maria have all her firsts and not having tony here to witness it.
Peter smiled lifting Maria up and throwing her high. Tony would never get to see the kid grow up.
She wanted to run off to mexico, to hide from the world, from everyone and everything but she couldnt do that, she couldnt just abandon Peter, she just got him back. They got everyone back and even though Alisha wanted to cry in a corner hugging her daughter she knew she had to try and figure out how to live in a world without her brother. That was harder than she thought.
She watched old interviews and listened to voicemails and lab reports. She rewatched videos they took together and reread letters Tony had wrote because she could never get rid of any of them. Not in her line of work, she kept every precious thing just in case. Just in case this happened and Tony was gone.
Bruce knew not to ask if Alisha was okay, because he knew she wasnt, weeks passed slowly and pregnancy symptoms and a baby bump. She smiled softly back at him from the bathroom floor.
"What can I get you?"
"Sprite." she answered "and Crumbl cookies. One of every flavor." she begged pulling herself up.
"Maria is playing with morgan in the main room, I will be right back with cookies and sprite." Bruce agreed kissing her cheek and heading off. Alisha leaned against the door for a long moment before shaking her head. Cookies were not going to fix her heartbreak but Peter Parker might.

"Thanks for inviting me over," Peter remarked happily. "This is going to be great."
"I agree." Alisha wrapped an arm around her. Just seeing his smiling face made her feel better already, they invited the whole gang over for a barbeque. Wong was here for the free food of course, even old man Steve came, peter asked if he was Alisha's grandfather which made Alisha's day even better. Rhodey looked like he might cry when he got to their home but that changed when alisha hugged him telling him it was okay to move on. Tony wouldnt want them miserable. Stephen was trying to explain to Morgan that he didnt to mundane tricks when she asked for a magic show. He was a sorcerer not a cheesy magician.
"I missed you." Peter added. "And I can't believe you are having another baby!"
"What?" Clint declared. Rhodey's eyes drifted to her stomach.
"Peter!" Alisha declared.
"I thought... they didnt... I mean," Peter looked nervously between them. "I havent' really spoiled anything." Peter offered. Alisha gaped back at him. "Well... there's a few things."

"You are pregnant again?" Clint questioned.
"Maria is gonna be a big sister and thats why i dont tell you secrets Peter." ALisha agreed.
"Sorry."
"Congratulations!" Were echoed around. She wanted to be the one to tell them of course but it was even better somehow that Peter declared there would be a new little Banner Stark joining them.
