" PINTEREST IS THE BEST FUCKING APP on this damn planet," Nneka sighs dramatically, scrolling through her Pinterest feed for makeup and outfit inspirations. " It's like cocaine, honestly,"

I nod in agreement, swinging my feet back and forth as I lay on my stomach with my head tilted to the side, also scrolling through Pinterest for ideas. " It's very addicting, especially when you can just vibe to whatever music you like and create boards for your liking,"

" I have at least two hundred boards made on my Pinterest account if we're being honest." Medjine giggles, turning her phone around and swiping through her boards, all in alphabetical order.

I sat up from my position, glancing at the digital clock on my phone. " Wait, so what time are we getting ready? it's already going on six right now,"

Medjine lay beside Nneka on the loveseat of the movie room, her legs propped on Nneka's lap. Her brows raise, " I didn't even realize it was six until now, we've been scrolling through Pinterest for an hour."

" I've been trying to find some inspiration for the outfit I wanna wear," I begin, sitting on my knees as I flip my curls out of my face. " But most of the outfits that I brought are either not clubbing outfits or just covered in paint,"

" What about that silk white dress you brought with you? you could wear that with your gold heels and do a cute slick bun or something," Nneka suggests, tapping her phone against Medjine's thigh who seemed unfazed by the matter. There was a level of comfortability within this friend group that I enjoyed, especially when they were the only people that have seen me at my most exposed: both physically and mentally.

" Yeah, and for your makeup, you can do a full face or something minimal, whatever is comfortable with you," Medjine added.

"Hold on," I paused, scrolling through my camera roll as I spoke. " I think I have a picture of the dress, I got it from Pinterest after seeing this girl wearing it. and she had a similar style to what I'm going for,"

I finally found the picture, after much time searching through art reference photos and random selfies that I've taken whenever I'm bored. I turn my phone around, showing them the exact photo that convinced me to buy that same exact dress. " This is what it looks like, but I haven't tried mine on yet,"
