Chapter 5

"Why can't I sleep?!" I yell in a hushed tone to myself. I'm trying to sleep in this amazing thing I call a bed but my body is like 'Nope. Not today sista!'. It's truly annoying. 

*insert knife throw and hitting wall sound*

"What the fucking hell was that?"  I say getting up. 

I open my balcony door and see a knife with an envelope attached to it. I reach out and grab the envelope and open it. There is a letter and poster with Zane on it.  WAIT- It has Zane on it! What the hell?  I rush to read the letter.

"Master Chen has personally invited you to participate in his Tournament of Elements. Secrecy is of the utmost importance. Tell no one, or suffer the consequences. If you ever want to see your friend again, meet on the pier at midnight and leave your weapons behind." I read aloud. 

Garmadon always warned me about Chen and Clouse. He said they were evil, not as much as him, but still evil. It seems he kidnapped Zane, and if I got this letter so did the ninja. Which means they are probably going to go since like brother-ship and all that stuff. And those idiots can't be left alone to do shit... 

"I gotta go. *sigh* Let's get packin'."

"Where are those idiots?" I ask to no one in particular. 

"Ah. I told you we shouldn't have wore them."

Speak of the devils and they shall appear. Them and their loud mouths. The question is, should I go up to them? Nah, if I'm seen with them then everyone will think we're a team and target us. Better to stay hidden for now. 

"The Tournament of Elements. You think all of them have powers like us?"

"When I asked my dad about it, he got really suspicious. Like there's something he's keeping from me."

"The Fortune cookie said tell no one or else there would be consequences."

"Relax, we're cool."

Sure,Lloyd sure. You have no clue what we are getting ourselves into. That's my idiot best friend. Yup, he's claimed. By me, myself, and I unfortunately.  

Sure enough a creepy boat pulls up to the dock. Aboard is Clouse, who walks across the plank. As soon as he is off I look him directly in the eyes and walk across the plank to the boat, no words exchanged. I toss my stuff over to a cultist and head to the top deck. I sit down with my legs dangling off the side watching the others board. Lucky they haven't seen me yet. I didn't feel like listening to their loud mouths and plugged in my headphones to my phone. I turn on my playlist and start listening to it until hearing Hot Girl Bummer by Blackbear and put that on repeat.  I'm just vibin' when I see Kai and a metal glove man arguing. Of course he got into a argument, he's to much of a hot head. 

"Uhh! Just jump in whenever you feel like it." Kai pleas sounding like he's on the verge of shitting his pants as the metal glove man picks him up by his shirt. 

"You say Karlof not smart?" 

The ninja starting walking over to them.

"I'd say Karlof is smart enough to not start something he can't finish."

"AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!" Kai yells as he gets yeeted.

"Guess Karlof not smart."

"Kai started this he can finish it."

Well shit is about to go down. Better be ready to save Kai's ass or laugh mine off. 

"FIRE!" Kai yells as he bounces back up.

Then Kai starts throwing ball of fire at Karlof, who turns all metal. All I hear is Kai gasp and I'm trying not to start laughing. But fail miserably. Metal Karlof starts running at Kai and attacking him, to which Kai dodges and attacks him back.  I follow them as they go, waiting for a time to jump in. That's when I see Kai cornered I jump in. Or should I say Spinjitzu in. 

"AAAAAAAHHHH!" Karlof says as he gets hit and falls unconscious. 

"Is he dead?" Kai asks scared for his life.

"No. Or at least I don't know." 

"Hey, sorry about that before. Are you okay?" A woman with red hair says, as she walks up and touches Kai's shoulder. Whom may I add is now a blushing mess. Like we're talking red like his gi red. 

"Lee!!!" Is all I here before I'm tackled into a hug by Lloyd. He's such a child. 

"Sup Lloydie." I say hugging him back. 

"What are you doing here?" Lloyd says stepping  away to look at me. 

"Indeed what are you doing here Lee?" Garmadon says in a tone which scared the ninja but me nope. He used that tone all the time on me, let's just say I was and still am a troublemaker. 

"Same reason as the ninja, Chen has Zane. I thought if I got this invitation so did the ninja, and they are probably gonna need help since they can't be left alone without making a mess of things."

"HEY!" All the ninja complain.

"Oh please Lloyd told me all the times you guys made a major mistake on missions, so don't act like it isn't true." 

"hehehe... You weren't suppose to say that." Lloyd says as the others stare at him. 

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (boat horn thing)

"WE ARE ARRIVING!!! WELCOME TO  CHEN'S ISLAND!!!" Clouse yells as we arrive upon a giant island. 

We walk to the front to get a better view.

"I swore never to return ."

"You know, you should never swear. It's a sign of weak verbal skills."

"Then you must never swear Jay since your verbal skills seem extremely good." 

"HaHaHaHaHa!" Is heard from everyone but Jay. 

"Then you must swear all the time Lee since yours seem so weak."

"Indeed I do. I say things like fu-"

"No swearing of that kind." Garmadon says cutting in. 

"Whatever Garma-grouch."

"If Zane's on that island, we'll find him. We have to." Lloyd says making a serious turn on the conversation. 

"We will Lloydie, we will."

"Stop calling me that!"

"Never Lloydie."
