The Sun To My Moon: Lloyd x Reader

Chapter 14

We finally managed to get through the maze and into what looks to be the throne room. 

"Kai? Kai, where are you?" Lloyd exclaims trying to find someone who betrayed us. 

The room is dimly lit and I can see the golden plated battle board with our pictures facing Chen.

"Lloyd-" I say quickly getting cut off my music and Chen speaking. 

"The final round. It all ends here." Chen exclaims jumping over a half wall to us with his staff.

"You! You turned Kai against me?" Lloyd accuses 

"Ahem! US!" I say

"Like I said, only one can remain." Chen says as Lloyd attacks him, and him getting away with the elemental power of speed.

"Oh, please. What use is one Element when I have the rest? Shadow!" Chen yells disappearing into the shadows. 

"Got your back Lloyd!" I say leaning my back against his a little bit. 

"I got yours!" He pauses "I know what you're up to. The Anacondrai Wars are over. You're living in the past." Lloyd yells to Chen.

"Wrong. I decide when it's over. And who doesn't like a blast from the past? Ice!" Chen reappears, shoots ice at us, and laughs. We jump behind the board. "Fire!" He shoots fire at us. 

"Whoa!" Lloyd says grabbing me and jumping away from the attack. 

"When my followers become Anacondrai, Ninjago will be controlled by those who deserve it, the most powerful. Gravity!" Chen exclaims using the elemental power of gravity to make me and Lloyd float. Chen is about to slam us into a lamp but Lloyd shifts our position to make him take the blow. 

"Whoa! What you have isn't power!" Lloyd grunts. "It's stealing! Aah!" He grunts again. 

"Lloyd is right! Real power doesn't need be to taken from others. Real power stops people like you!" I yell as we fall to the floor, me on the bottom. After getting up we trying kicking Chen but he uses the power of smoke to dodge, causing us both to slam into the board. Chen laughs at us as me and Lloyd form a ball of darkness and energy, shooting it at him. Chen turns metal and reflects the attack causing it to come right back and hit us. Chen unfortunately defeats us in the end. 

"Only one can remain." He laughs.

Me and Lloyd are currently being brought into this underground cultist central. And of course we are being dragged in here by the 2 dumbest ones. I block the dumbasses out as we get to the bottom of the stairs and are chained to the ground. Kai makes his way over to us.

"Don't worry-" Kai begins whispering but then sees Clouse. "it won't hurt, heh, that much." Kai says walking away with a terrible evil laugh. Wait... he's pretending to join Chen. He had a fuckin' plan. Well for once in his life he did something smart.

"All right, first thing's first. Daughter!" Chen yells to Skylor.

"I offer my power to you, Father." She says bowing then a white light comes out of the staff sucking away her power as the light turns orange. Chen finishes with Skylor as she walks away with a wobble and a groan.

"And now for the final Elements. Only one can remain!" Chen says as he steals mine and Lloyd's powers. 

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!" I scream as my power is sucked out of me. Not only my power but a tiny portion of me that I usually forget I have. Oni. I soon pass out, missing Lloyd's extremely worried face.
