The Sun To My Moon: Lloyd x Reader

Chapter 7

"Two Jadeblades remaining." Clouse says as he puts the most recent blade in. 

"Wait! I got one!"Cole says running in. 

"Cole! Whoo-hoo! You made it." Jay exclaims. 

"Where's Kai?" Cole questions. 

So far all of us but Kai and Karlof are here. Knowing those 2 they probably are going at it right now, and Kai better win this. I don't wanna see Lloyd and the ninja upset if he doesn't win. 

We all turn when we hear walking coming from the hallway's direction. Karlof stands before us. 

"Hahaha! Karlof wins!" Everybody except me, Garmadon, and the ninja cheer. 

I turn to look at Lloyd who looks sad and surprised. I grab hold of his hand and give it squeeze as I turn my attention to Kai sneaking up behind Karlof and screwing off a screw. What I didn't see was Lloyd getting a little pink on his cheeks. 

"What?" Karlof says as his metal glove comes off. 

"Ah, looks like you got a screw loose." Kai says as he grabs the jadeblade, jumps to the other side of the room, and puts the jadeblade in the holder. Everyone begins to cheer except Garmadon. 

"We have a loser!"

 "That's not fair. He cheated."

"I did what I had to do."Kai explains. 

"That is not how you win."Garmadon educates. 

"Fine, I lose. Karlof never wanted to be on stinking island."

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay. I guess this worked out for the best. This is goodbye!" He pushes a button, activating a trapdoor under Karlof who screams as he falls.  "As you can see, lose and you are out. Break any rule, you are out. Never bite the hand that feeds you Master Chen delicious noodle! Now rest up. Tomorrow the tournament will recommence."

"I'm fuckin' starving!!!!" I complain. 

"Relax, it's almost time to eat." Lloyd says while continuing to play his video game. 

The others went to their rooms and Garmadon wanted a nap, like the old man he is. So I said he could use my room because it's pitch black. Which is why I'm currently sitting on Lloyd's bed complaining about being hungry. 

"Almost isn't gonna satisfy my fuckin' hunger in time!" I complain some more. 

"Ugh. Why are you so hangry, we had breakfast." Lloyd says as he pauses his game and goes towards his closet. 

"I skipped breakfast to sleep in remember." 

"Well no more of that. I'm waking you up tomorrow bright and early, and you are getting breakfast." Lloyd says walking back into the room with a bag.

"Nooooooo! Then I'm gonna be tired!"

"I'll get you a lot of caffeine."

"Then I'll be-"

"Bouncing off the walls. I know, I'll make sure you don't." Lloyd says tossing me the bag and  beginning  to play his game again. 

"What's in the bag?"

"Candy. and don't eat all of it. You're my best friend but that doesn't mean I'm not gonna be mad if you eat all of it." 

"Thanks Lloydie!" I hug him then begin eating candy and watching him play.
