Chapter 21

After me and Kai just realizing how Lee and Azalea could be sisters we went straight to the team. let's just say they had some mixed reactions. Jay went ballistic per usual, Nya had shock written all over her face, Zane was connecting the dots, and Cole just let out a big 'WHAT?'. But whose reaction surprised me the most was Harumi's. She was super confused. 

"If Azalea had a sister she would have told me. At least I hope so." Harumi says 

"It's highly logical to think that neither knew that they had a sister. But also Azalea once mentioned she had an adopted younger sister whose name was Mi, if my memories serves me right." Zane explains

"Yeah so are you sure that they're related? People in Ninjago can have the same last names and not be related at all." Cole says

"But it makes sense. That's why we thought Azalea was so familiar, we met her sister. They have the same smirk, hair color, and the fighting skills are so similar. It all makes sense." I exclaim pacing back and forth. 

"Honestly Lloyd think about it. I makes sense but also doesn't at the same time. Plus who says they have to be sisters, they could be cousins for all we know." Nya says. 

I stayed silent, not even a thought in my head or a word spoken out loud. Well until I went a little crazy. 

"I pushed Lee away, we all know it. I pushed her beyond her limits that I always knew were there. I lost my best friend by making a dumb mistake. Finding out that Azalea and Lee are sisters or at least related is huge to me. It's another clue to the mystery about Lee I don't know how to solve. I need to find Lee. Shes the moody to my happy, the dark to my light, the moon to my sun." I exclaim. 

"You're in love with her." Rumi smiles. "Azalea said similar things a while back about the person who she was in love with, who also broke her heart. I remember her saying 'That we are opposites. And the world doesn't know how to handle us together, but when the world does get a handle on it that's when I will start loving him again.'" 

"Jeez why do so many people like giving us riddles?!" Jay complains. 

"Ignore him." Nya smiles while putting a hand over Jay's mouth. 

"That makes sense... Even dead Azalea is smart." I chuckle. 

"More like a know-it-all but yeah smart." Rumi and the others laugh.

We arrive in Hollow's Buff, a rocky and foggy terrain. The ninja are currently making jokes about Rumi's name and finding words that are similar in sounding, while some aka Nya and Zane try to figure out some things regarding the terrain. In all honestly I have no clue what they are doing. After a while we all stand around the giant monitor listening to Nya and Zane talk about the sons of garmadon. 

"We know they're after the three Oni Masks. Unfortunately, they already have two of them." Nya explains

"P.I.X.A.L. scanned everywhere for the third mask, but it came up empty. It's as if...it never existed." Zane says. 

"Then we need to focus on who's giving the orders. A group this organized must have a leader." I comment.

"Maybe someone from our past?" Jay questions.

"Uh, forgive me, but is that...underwear?" Rumi asks as she picks up Jay's underwear. 

"We're usually more organized. Ahem. But our leader got lost in a time-stream. Uh, they're Cole's." Jay exclaims after grabbing and chuckling in embarrassment. 

"They're blue!" Cole yells annoyed

"You're lucky they're not yellow." Kai laughs as Rumi gets a very confused look. 

"What about the suspect captured at the heist in Borg Tower? I can stay behind with Harumi if you wanna press him on who he works for." Nya says gaining our attention again.

"The police have him in custody, but he has refused to talk. He is set for release today."Pixal tells us.

"Then if Johnny Law can't get him to talk, perhaps Johnny ninja can?" Kai says 

After we made the decision of having Kai, Nya, and Rumi stay here. While the rest of us go talk to the suspect. But I had a bit of different plans. I remember Wu, my father, and Lee talking about this tea shop that sold different types of magical tea. The place I personally have only been once with Lee. Mystake's Tea Shop. Maybe she has truth tea for we can get more information about the SOG? Or I can ask if she has seen Lee recently? Or both? 

We arrive in front of the old looking building in Ninjago city. 

"Uh, I thought we were in a hurry to get to the police." Jay asks. 

"A quick stop. If the perp won't talk, maybe we can get something to loosen his lips."I reply walking inside. 

"Mystake's Tea Shop. I wonder what magic tea she can brew up for us." Cole says.

"Is Mystake here?" I ask to the deserted store.

"Never heard of her! Ooh! Apologies, young Lloyd Garmadon. I didn't recognize your voice. Oh, it's so good to see you again. It's been years." Mystake says coming from the back.

"Hello, Mystake." I greet her with a smile remembering how Lee always said that she was like a mother to her. 

"I'm sorry to hear about Master Wu. He was a dear friend."

"'Was?' We haven't given up on him. We just have more urgent problems." Cole says. 

"We seek—" Zane starts 

"The Tea of Truth!" Mystake cuts Zane off yelling. 

"She's good." Zane comments. 

"But be forewarned...the truth can be...dangerous or... heartbreaking." Mystake explains. 

Heartbreaking. The pain in my existence. Something everyone experiences, but get over at different paces. Personally I'm still not over mine with Lee. I pushed my best friend, the love of my life, my moon away. I blame myself for my own heartbreak. 

I'm snapped out of my trance when Mystake returns and I see a painting in the backroom. And that's when I found out some information I desperately needed. Not only was the information about Onis and dragons, but about Lee too.
