Chapter 10

The ninja are in an arena watching the blind dude and Skylor fight. Me on the other hand I'm sitting on my balcony relaxing. Yes it's raining, but I love the rain at night. It is just so gorgeous in my eyes. I always felt like a thunder storm and I have so much in common. The dark clouds filling up the skies, the darkness in my veins. The lightning lighting up the sky, how I'm good. Even the fact that it can kill and destroy anything but rarely does, like me. I know that doesn't seem like something I would even say or think but I do. I love poetry and music, but not many people know that. 

"Ummmm Miss Master of Darkness?" An unknown voice squeaks on the ground below my balcony.

"Yes?" I say looking down to see 2 guards looking a bit scared. Oh they know I could kill them, that's great. I smirk to my thought. 

"Master Chen has ordered that the elemental masters must sleep in the Chow house tonight because of the ordeal Master Jay and Master Cole pulled. So *gulp* please go." The other guard squeaks.

"Fine let me get in dry clothing then I will be down there." I say walking inside. 

I grab a pair of gray cloth shorts and a purple sweatshirt and do spinjitzu to get them on. I then begin to make my way to the Chow House. I enter and see all the masters have chosen their beds and the 3 idiots arguing. 

"Hey guys what's up?" I say entering their conversation. 

"Lee who should get top bunk on these 2 bunk beds?"  Jay says. 

"Me right?" Lloyd says with his childish smile and puppy dog eyes.

"I'll take one and Kai takes the other."

"Ha!" Kai says cheering and jumping up to the bed. 

"awww" jay whines getting into the bed under Kai's. 

"Why not me?" Lloyd asks disappointed.

"Because last time you slept on a bunk bed you fell of of it while sleeping." I reply climbing up and hearing laughs from the other ninja.

"Hey! Don't exposed me like that!"

"Sorry. If you want exposed something bout me. I don't care."  

"You... You love music and poetry, have an amazing voice, and write your own songs." 

"True." I say, while the other ninja are a little shocked. 

"How come we don't know that?" Jay says

"You guys don't know me like Lloyd does. And he's my best friend." I say laying down to fall asleep. 

Lloyd POV

You guys don't know me like Lloyd does. And he's my best friend...

Best friends even though I have the smallest crush on her, and don't know about half of her life. I know she was abandoned by her parents, trained by my father, ran from my father, used tomorrow's tea to run from him, and other things. But I wanna know everything about her. I only wish that-

"Night!" Jay and Kai call.

"Oh! uh! Night!" I reply

I need to stop thinking, especially about this.

Lee POV

I hear with a gong sound echoing through the room, and the lights turning on. 

"Good Morning fighters! Oh,-" Clouse starts

"Clouse get your ugly ass away and let me sleep you bitch!" I call creating a bubble of darkness around me. I hear some muffled laughs and Clouse continuing his speech, but ignore it. 

"Leeeeeeeeee. Wake up, or you won't have any fooooooood." Lloyd calls from outside my bubble. 

I yawn, realizing I would have to wake up. 

"Chen is ugly but that doesn't mean he is dumb, he will give me food because if he doesn't he knows he is a dead man." I say opening my bubble and hopping down from the bunk. 

"Well the soon to be dead man wants you to wear these skates." Jay says handing me skates.

"Oh. Skates? What are we back in the 50s at a fuckin' diner? I swear if Clouse starts singing some tunes, I'm totally dead." I say grabbing the skates and putting them on while hearing laughs.

After I put on my skates we leave to an arena. It's big and has a whole race track lookin' thing. Chen then comes rolling towards us on some skates, he announces 

"Welcome to my favorite event! THUNDERBLADE!"

"Hey, I know this game. It's just like—" The master of speed starts.

"No, it's not like that! This is my game. I made it up! Fully original. A Jadeblade for you, Lloyd, Master of Power." He says tossing  him a Jadeblade and a green helmet. "And another for Chamille, Master of Form. Where—Where are you?" Chamille reveals herself as a guard. "Oh, there you are." He tosses her a blade and orange helmet. "Haha. Rules are simple. Each lap you complete with your blade in possession, a point. Most points before time expires, you win." 

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. What about us? Are we supposed to just stand here?" Again the master of speed says.

"You get to help anyone you wish, or hurt for that matter. You're free to choose sides. I'm not a dictator." The ugly man shrugs and goes to his throne. Everyone except me, Kai, and Jay grab a orange helmet. 

"Ok motherfuckers, nice to know how you feel about one of the people who saved the city multiple times. Maybe next time he could leave you for dead. No wait he should but he won't so I'll just but you on my kill list." I whisper loud enough for the other team while getting my helmet and glaring at them. The others didn't hear but they saw the look on the team's faces. The other team was purely terrified. 

"What did you say to them?" Kai says when I rejoin the group. 

"Nothing! Just putting those bitchy assholes in their place." I smirk getting ready. Nobody messes with my best friend, well except me from time to time. 

"Something bout your hypothetical kill list didn't you. You always use that threat." Lloyd says joining the conversation. 

"And more." I smirk as Chen begins. 

"Lloyd, Master of Power, versus Chamille..." I ignore Chen until I hear the loud sound indicating we can start.

Truth be told this was all a bit of a blur. People rushing around, getting pushed, me cursing people out, Lloyd telling me to stop cursing, the ninja and I telling the other fighters the truth bout Chen, the buggy things coming out of the ground. Just a blur. But I know Lloyd won, and that is what matters. Oh and Kai hilariously falling on his ass multiple times. I wish I had a camera to record that.
