Chapter 15

It's such a nice view from up here on the dragons, like the skyline is just muah. Chef's kiss. It's gorgeous (like the reader). We unfortunately had to turn back though due to leaving some people behind, and from others not getting a handle on the dragon easily. 

"Chen and his Anacondrai army have a day's start on us. Be prepared for anything and everything." Lloyd says 

"How did we lose so much time?"  Kai questions 

"You know, you took an oath never to leave a man behind." Dareth replies. 

"And we're not all quick learners. Mastering your fear to create Power Dragons takes time."  Jay says 

"Ah. Time, that's a powerful element." I say plainly. 

"Lee." Garmadon gives me a glare. 

"Well, we're running out of time. There's Ninjago City. Hurry." Nya exclaims pointing towards the city. 

"Hurry's my middle name. Hyah!" Griffin calls racing ahead. 

"Slow down Turbo Turd before you get a ticket!" I yell while also making the others laugh. 

We go a bit faster as we apporach the city. As we come up above it we slow down. The citizens of Ninjago are glancing up to look at us which causes me to smile. They don't know they are in danger, but we will save them despite that. 

I land my dragon next to Lloyd's getting the last bit of the conversation I didn't hear. 

"We have to get you and my father off the streets before we alarm everyone. Everyone else, stick together and watch over the people." Lloyd yells as the others leave. I on the other hand walk towards him. 

"I'm going to stop at my parents. Contact me when I'm needed." I say. 

"Ok be careful though." He replies as he hugs me and I hug back of course. 

"See ya!" I call to the rest. 

"Bye Lee!" They call back. 

Lloyd POV

I watch Lee remake her dragon and leave. 

"Where is she going?" Cole asks as he stands next to me.

"To her parents for a bit, but she'll be back." I say turning to him.

"Where does she even live?" Kai asks coming up us too.

"Don't know." I plainly say. 

"You're her best friend and you don't know where she lives?" Jay raises an eyebrow.

"Yeah... She doesn't like talking much bout her family or her past, so I don't know much about either." I shrug

"Why don't you ask?" Cole questions. Why are they even asking these questions anyway?

"I have a feeling if I ask she would just leave from embarrassment. Also, why are you guys asking so many questions?" I ask them all. 

"We just wanna know that the green ninja isn't in love with someone who may hurt him." Kai says putting a hand on my shoulder. "And we know she won't, but still." 

"Thanks I guess? But don't worry about Lee, she could never hurt me." I smile getting some in return.

He didn't deny being in love with her.
