Chapter 2

I walked up to Borg-Tower, which may I add is in the middle of the fuckin' city. I walked  5 miles to here. I'm tired and hate Garmadon more than I ever had before. But I will admit this tower is pretty nice. I started to exit the elevator when I hear. 

"Don't worry Ninjago will be protected I have my best student on the case."

"I thought we were your best students. Or at least Lloyd was."  

Lloyd Garmadon. The golden boy of Ninjago, savior of Ninjago, defeater of the Overlord, and Garmadon's son. Let's just hope he isn't like his father. 

"Yes Lloyd is my best student now but before it was-"

"Lee Ward."

4 people turn to look at me.  One was wearing white robes, a straw hat, and a white beard. Master Wu most definitely. Another was the girl from early at the movies, and a robot girl looking person. And lastly Garmadon who was wearing his signature Garmadon smirk. Oh how I wish I could just punch that goddamn smirk off his bitch ass fa-

"Who's there? We can't see you guys heads are in the way!"  I heard one of the ninja complain. 

"You actually came."  Garmadon said as he stepped towards me. 

"I said I would. And we both know that good guys keep their promises." 

"Dad. Who's there?" 

"A friend and an ally." He said grabbing my arm and dragging me over. I slightly glared at him before turning my attention to the screen he brought me towards. It had all the ninja in front of it. Black, blue, white, red, and green. All of whom didn't know me, or so I thought. 

"Hey! You're the movie girl from earlier!"  The blue one exclaimed

"What?" The red one asked

"Earlier when me, Nya, and motormouth went on a date to the movies to watch the stupid space samurai. She was there and asked Jay if he preferred the movies or the comics Starfarer better. He said movies and before leaving she said 'Thanks for the opinion and the laugh about you 3's awkward situation.' Which was kinda rude not gonna lie." The black ninja said, raising an eyebrow.

"Sorry I wasn't enjoying the movie, the comics are way better, and I eavesdropped on your conversation which was pretty funny. I didn't mean any harm, I use jokes as a coping mechanism for the trauma I call life."

"You like Starfarer?!" Lloyd exclaimed in a high pitched voice and probably more excited then he should have. Which left the ninja laughing. 

"Ehem... I mean you like Starfarer? Who's your favorite villain?"

"Its basic but the Imperial Sludge. Fritz had the most creative way of fighting him sooooo." 

"Understandable. I think-"

"Enough with the Starfarer talk you 2. Ninja this is Lee Ward the elemental master of darkness. She will be protecting Ninjago while you are in outer space. Lee these are the Ninja Kai, Zane, Cole, Jay, and Lloyd. Assuming you already know their elements." Garmadon said cutting the chit-chat.  

"Elemental Master of Darkness? There are more elements?" Kai asked

"That isn't something we can answer right now. The area of the space ship you are on will depart in a few minutes. Lucky Pixel has found the blueprints for the space ship, and there seems to be a room with enough spacesuits for all of you near the front of the ship."  Wu stated 

"That will be a doozy.  We can't get the spacesuits unless we go outside. The problem is, we can't go outside without the spacesuits. Any other suggestions." Cole said.

"They are completely out of their element. Even if they get through this, what chance do we have of getting them home?" Garmadon tries to whisper. Keyword tries. He fails miserably cause the ninja heard him. 

"Uh, we can still hear you." Kai says reading my mind. Not creepy at all. 

"Yeah we could really use some encouraging words right about now." Lloyd said that made me snort and get a glare from Garmadon. 

Garmadon was never one for encouraging words. At least not towards me. I trained under him from ages 3 to 8. And saw a 8 year old kick his ass, also yes that was me and let me say he trained me too good. 

"If you can not change your circumstances, change yourself." Wu says being his wise self, but not a wise ass like Garmadon always said he was. 

"Hm, can anyone else figure that one out?"

"His wisdom usually takes a while to set in. But we don't have a while!!!" 

"It means that if you can't change or control the situation you are in, you have to change something about yourself. Like your mindset, attitude, or actions instead. It's about adapting and finding ways to make the best of any situation. Sometimes, the only thing we have control over is ourselves. Is that easier to understand?" I said making all eyes turn to me. 

"What? I'm good with understanding inspiration speeches, not exactly following them."

"That's kinda better. Thanks." Said Lloyd floating in the background of the screen. 

"Zane, you're the only one who can survive outside the ship." Pixal says talking to the ninja. 

"She's right. I'm the only one who doesn't need oxygen. I must go alone." Zane says and starts to leave. 

RING. RING. 

Shit my phone. I say racing to pick it up. It's father.

"Hey father..." A sweet voice coming out my mouth as I step away from the group.

"Where are you?" His serious king voice taking over. 

"I went to see another movie." Lie. 

"Fine. Tell us next time before you go, and come back now you have duties to attend to."

"Yes Father." I say hanging up.

"I gotta-"

"Go." Garmadon says finishing my sentence.

"How'd ya know?"

"Your voice gets all high pitched and squeaky like a mouse when you try to talk sweetly. That still hasn't change unlike I presume your age. Now here is the gear and you may go."

"Ok first of all my voice doesn't get high pitched and squeaky like a mouse when I talk sweetly. And second I only used the tomorrow's tea to hide from you. I didn't need the you finding me and killing me." I said taking the gear and starting to head to the elevator. 

"Tell the Ninja I say bye and I'm sorry again." I said turning around towards them all, then to the red shirt girl. Then I left.
