"Y/n?"

[knock knock]

That sounds like Charlie? 

"May I come in?" 

 turn back to see Adam and Lute who are frozen in place. I look to them and gesture to the bathroom, prompting them to go hide.

"Yeah, come in."

Lute and Adam shut the door and hide just before Charlie steps in. 

She looks at me and clasps her hands together. "Hey Y/n! I hadn't checked on ya in a bit so I thought I'd pop in to see how your shoulder feels."

"I'm a bit lightheaded, but that's probably just because I haven't eaten yet today."

"I'll grab you some water, you should lay down and rest!"
She smiles at me before turning to the bathroom door.

"Wait do-"

Shit

She opens the door and pauses. Adam and Lute look at each other then her.

"What...What are you...Y/n, did you know they were here?!" Her voice is surprised, but not exactly angry. 

"W-well...yes. But, they aren't here to hurt anyone I promise!"

Charlie frowns and crosses her arms before stepping away from the bathroom door. 

"T-these are angels...Exorcists! How could you be harboring them to safety? T-"

"Charlie, listen please I can explain-"

"No! Y/n, you could have at LEAST told me!"

"Well, they've only been here for a few MINUTES!"

"But still! These two have killed thousands of innocent people! And THAT one is just really rude!"

She points to Adam.

"Charlie, listen I...."

"I can't let them stay, Y/n"

"Charlie, please...I know this looks bad but they aren't going to hurt anyone, I PROMISE...."

Charlie inhales deeply and looks down at her feet.

"How do you know that, Y/n?"

"Charlie, trust me. I won't let them lay a finger on anyone here."

Charlie looks over to me then to them before sighing. 

"I'll fix them rooms and keep it on the down low. I trust you, Y/n."

I smile softly nod my thanks before she paces out of the room.

Adam and Lute both step out and look at me, I look over to them, then out the window. 

"Right, here's the deal you two."
