I'm back baby

To come back from my break to see over 11k reads is mind-blowing, and I'm beyond grateful that you guys like my writing! I'm finally back from my disappearance, (I was doing a lot of traveling-) and I'm going to get back onto a schedule! Expect an upload once a week, usually around Wednesday!

(On a very unrelated note- I saw the Deadpool & Wolverine movie, and I'm gonna watch all the other Deadpool movies, (and the X-men movies) and honestly don't be surprised if I star a one-shot series before I finish a single one of those movies (I'M LOSING IT BAAHAHAHAH) ahem....now, here is your meal, my lovelies!)

What in the hell is even going on now...
Based off of my incredible higher order thinking, some angel lady is mad at Lute and Adam...probably because they're inexplicably in hell.

"I hope you two have a good reason for being here." She huffs, a small snarl on her lips. She takes a deep breath, trying to gather herself.

"Seraaa! Heyy! What's up! Funny seeing you here-"
"Shut up." Lute cuts off Adam, darting her eyes to him, then to this Sera chick. "Ma'am, we can explain..." Sera narrows her eyes, titling her head up slightly, looking at her expectantly. I can see the panic in Lute's eyes, trying to calculate some sort of believable excuse. "The last extermination! We weren't very successful... The army lacked this year. Adam and I agreed that we should come down, and try to up the body count. After all, this is to ensure hell won't rise up." Sera's shoulders slump slightly.

"This was foolish. I understand you had good intentions, but I expect better of you Lieutenant."

"Wait but not me-?"

"Quiet Adam."
"Quiet Adam."

Fucks sake what's the "stfu adam" counter at now?

"We're going back." Sera continues. "Kill that sinner, I don't want them speaking of this incident."

I saw Lute wince, I was going to try and say something, or maybe negotiate somehow? But before I could say anything, something gets jammed into my neck from behind me, and I drop to the ground as my vision goes black.

Before my consciousness is fully gone, I hear the muffled sounds of a conversation.

"Come, we're going home now."

In a hushed voice, verging on tears, almost impossible to hear... "What the fuck Adam?!"

[And now, the curtain comes to a close for today. Expect it to open again, next week.]
