CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN
A GOOD MOODCARLISLE stood next to Esme, thinking of what to say to Thea, who was tapping on her foot. She seemed as if she was ready for them to give her a lecture so that she could leave. "Go ahead...scold me."
Carlisle sighs, "I'm not going to scold you. Thea, you know we can't do this...we cannot kill humans, especially in Forks."
Esme nods in agreement, her hand on his shoulder, "We understand your frustration but killing a human just because you're upset is not who you are."
Thea mustered up a breathy chuckle as a grin spread to her lips.
"What is so amusing?"
"That's not who you are." Thea repeats Esme's words, "Do I need to remind you of the things I've done?" She was almost seething.
"And how did that make you feel afterward?" Esme raises a brow in concern, hoping Thea will get the message. "Because killing them didn't do you any good, Thea. Killing Bella wouldn't do you any good."
"But it would!" Thea exclaims, a groan following afterward, "That girl is the problem and Edward is letting her think this is all daisies and giggles. We can all be killed because of this!" Thea blinks, her fingers tightening around the armrest of the chair.
Thea scoffs, standing up and leaving because she knows that no matter what she says, nothing will change.
"Thea," Esme calls her.
Thea stops at the door, glancing her way.
"We love you." She conveyed.
Thea's eyes couldn't help but soften, "...I love you."

Days had passed since Carlisle and Esme spoke to Thea about her actions. The has been avoiding talking to not only them but with Edward as well.
Thea spent her days with her mate, who she was now sitting next to, both of them leaning against a bookshelf.
Alice had her eyes examining Thea's side profile.
Thea looks over to Alice, who immediately snaps her eyes back to her book as if she was reading.
Thea frowns, "Alice, what's wrong?"
Alice looks up, a tight smile plastered across her face, "hm? Oh, nothing."
Thea blinks, "Alice."
