I looked at Helena sitting across from me in my cell...this was real. She was really here...I still couldn't quite believe it....

And when she touched my fingers, I felt her magic I knew for sure.

''You're real...'' i said again.

I sighed with relief, i was so relieved... she was still alive. I moved closer to the bars and stretched out my long arms to grasp her fingers.

''Helena.... you're okay! you have no idea how happy I am to see you''

she stretched out her arm so I could reach it more easily.

''I'm here Evan, don't worry'"

she stared around ''But where is here?"

I cleared my throat and wiped a tear from my eye ''We're in Scotland, I'm sure...but where exactly I dare not say''

''How long have you been here?" she asked as she released my fingers and wrapped her hands around her legs.

''I've been sitting here today for exactly, let's see.... 2 weeks! I kept track of it on the wall next to me...'' I grabbed the chalk stone and put a line through 4 others.

In the corner of my cell was a jug of water and a cup ''Do you want water?'' I asked.

She nodded her head hastily, and I grabbed a cup of water for her and pushed it toward her bars.

''I wasn't given any food or drink for the first 3 days either, so my magic would weaken''

She drank the cup in one go and handed it back to me. Our fingers touched as I took the cup and she stared into my eyes again.

''Evan...''

''Helena..''

I said with a smile on my face as I saw the corners of her mouth go up.

''How are you Helena?'' I asked after a long time of silence and staring at each other.

We were sitting against the wall in the doorway of the cell door. Both of us facing the same way and our heads leaned back against the wall.

''I'm fine Evan, thanks for asking!''

''Are you and Ominis still...'' I asked with a slight doubt.

''Uhm yes, Ominis and I are still together.'' she responded in a soft voice.

''That's nice! Good to hear'' I smiled.

''I hope I see him again someday...'' she sobbed softly.

''Of course! We are together now, together we are strong. We'll get out of this Helena, I promise''

''How ... how are you really doing Evan?" she asked in a trembling voice.

I looked at her and tears came back to my eyes. ''Do you want an honest answer?"

She nodded to me.

And i began to tell my story.

"I'm not doing well...

I thought I had lost you...
