(Helena perspective)
I'd put on my black dress for Evander's funeral. It was a deep-cut dress with lace arms, and it fell just to my knees. On my neck is a beautiful necklace with a small gold butterfly. Black high heels, and on my wrist, the moonstone bracelet. My hair was curled, and there were some strands next to my face. I looked more feminine with my new haircut, which was different. After I had seen myself dead lying on the table, flashbacks of that haunted my mind... i had to change my appearance. My hair was a light dark blonde shade and was cut until my shoulders.

I stood before my mirror as I tried to untangle the gold chains from my heels.
The last few days were anything but pleasant. I had to write letters to my family and arrange things for the funeral. They couldn't move his body to Ambrose City. Ominis helped me with a lot of things we had to do and sort out. What an awful week.. AGAIN. I almost kissed Sebastian, then he kissed Adelaide. We were captured.. I was hurt. I died.. i came back. Evander died. *And that stupid shoe isn't working at all.* I took it off my feet and threw it at the door behind me.

"I know that we have a love-hate relationship, but where did I deserve to get a shoe in my face?" A low, deep voice said. I stared in the mirror, and I saw Sebastian standing in it with the shoe lying on the ground. And he chuckled a bit, but I didn't find him funny at all.

I didn't turn as he stepped into the room. He was wearing long black trousers. A black blouse with a few unbuttoned buttons with gold cuff links, and leather shoes. His hair hangs nicely behind his head, and my ring is on his finger. He looked really handsome in that all-black outfit, almost too handsome for a funeral.

He stood behind me as he wrapped his arms around me in an embrace. "I'm sorry. I know it's a rough day for you." I lay my head back against his shoulder. ''It's alright, Sebastian; you just want to cheer me up.''

He let my body go and stepped to the window with his hands in his pocket as he looked outside. ''Did you eat this morning?''

I looked down, where his pants were nicely fitted on the back. He turned. And I looked, and you could see... well.. Everything. *oh fuck*

I quickly moved my face up till our eyes met again. ''I couldn't eat. My stomach turned with every bite I wanted to take''

And I turned to grab my shoe from the ground. I tried and tried to untangle the chains again, but they didn't move at all.

''Stupid thing'' I snarled to it. Sebastian slowly chuckled, ''Let me help you.'' and he made a few steps towards me as his hands tried to grab the shoe.

His appearance in that all-black outfit made me nervous; it made him more mature.. Different.

I stepped back. ''I can do it!'' I snapped. He stepped closer again, ''Just let me help you..'' and he laid his hands on mine to get the shoe. My heart was beating in my chest so fast as he touched my skin again.

''Give them to me, Lena..'' he said in a deep, low voice. I pulled back. ''I said i could do it!'' he sighed an grabbed my wrist with a firm grip, and pulled me to him ''I know what your doing sweetheart.. Stop trying to run away, because you know that I'll chase you.'' He took the shoe with a gentle move as I gave it to him.

He untangled the chains within a second, and he looked up and smiled at me. ''Do you also need help to put them on?''

I quickly grabbed it from his hands. ''I can do it!'' And I walked to my chair to sit down as I tried to put the shoe on.

''Let me take you out for lunch after the funeral; you need something to eat.'' He said this as he watched me fight with the shoe. ''Where?'' I asked. ''Somewhere you want to go... Your choice.''
