Andy's Pov.
My 'Tracy ride' with 'Stacey' wasn't like one normal car ride. Saying that it had the potential to horrify you would be an understatment. For me being eighteen meant acting mature but when it comes to Stace, turning 18 implied turning wild.
"Watch the road Stace! I don't wanna see a hospital before I can see our college. Please keep it smooth." I said worried.
But she shot me an ignorant look. "Relax hun! the sooner the better. I just can't wait to get there...mhmmm..new place, new people and new boys. It's gonna be so awesome. " she breathed in joy, as I could easily see her eyes going big with every word.
"Really now, that's not helping at all." I kept sticking onto my seat even more in fear.
"Please, please, please...slow down, I beg you! please!" I literally begged on my knees. (psst! just saying.)
"Baaarrggh! Fine, fine." she annoyingly blew fire through her mouth as she eased down on the gas.
And to my happiness, Tracey finally slowed down...pheww.
"Thank you very much!" I sarcastically spat.
"Oh, no need to remind me of my kindness!" she bowed her head slightly, returning me the favour.
I simply rolled my eyes.
Then it suddenly clicked me!
My little best friend here never really bothered to mention the other important details about our college life that I so fondly thought about. So, I thought about teasing her a bit again.
"Well in case you missed out on something important before Stace, we also have new books, new subjects and new classes to attend to." I spoke playfully but also prepared to bear her reaction.
"Ah! here we go again." she pulled off one hand from the steering in air.
And there comes her long, long speech....I mentally chuckled.
"Andriana Stanford, seriously? When will you get past the stage where you are always drowned in your books, huh? Please get over it already, okay! You need to learn to live it up and stop fussing. Gosh, look at you! Every other girl envies your beauty, your hair, your height...and you are wasting it all? I don't remember a single guy who didn't want to ask you out in highschool, but you..you'd just scare them away. That's too much! " she spoke it all in one breath.
WOW!
I wondered if she memorised it! I mean I was pretty much used to this coming from her whenever I stepped into my nerdy zone.
But I had to speak in my defence though. "Stacy Wilson! I do know how to have a good time okay, but I just like to balance fun with studies. Besides, I just can't go around acting like some blabbering maniacal woman." I spoke defending my case but soon regretted saying the last part. Please Stace don't hear it.
She flashed a smile looking in the direction opposite me "okay whatever! but I'm not letting you waste your charm anymore."
What? She didn't get mad. Well, I felt lucky but I simply rolled my eyes at her remark. Somewhere her words had me thinking of where she was actually getting at but I'd rather ignore it.
