Andy's pov.
We made it to the classroom finally!
While Samantha was absolutely clueless about my problems, I didn't intend to bother her with them either any time soon. We walked inside, she being extra conscious of Jacob noticing her. I looked at that guy in particular.
So he was Jacob! Light brown hair. Blue eyes.
By the looks of him, I pictured him to be a decent enough guy. As we entered, he was totally ogling her appearance. I could see it by the way he was noticing her. His eyes lit up with a spark as he saw her.
I looked at Samantha to my side. Her cheeks were pink.
Totally, totally fell for him!
I nodded at her smiling, before she made it to that brown haired guy right across my row. It wasn't long before she seated herself next to him, already blushing as they indulged into their own chatting and praising business.
Meanwhile I took a quick look at my seat and just as I thought, Stace was sitting in the adjoint seat, busy tapping her fingers on her phone screen. This was a good sign may be. If she was too mad, she would probably be switching seats to sit as far away from me as possible. But being my bestfriend and for the unbreakable friendship we had, I knew she wouldn't ditch me for seats, not just yet.
Not caring to glance around at the other people, I carefully hoped into my seat beside her, wishing she atleast acknowledges me.
But as opposed to that, she had noticed me but ignored me much faster, taking back her attention to her phone.
I bit on my lower lip, feeling both scared and mischievous at the same time. Her sulking postures weren't anything new to me, she would often go throwing tantrums and bossy over frivolous things, only this time the reasons were not so simple.
"Hi!" I hesitantly spoke, putting down my books in front of me, on the wooden desk.
She sluggishly looked up at me, sarcastically smiling.
"Hi!" she spoke flatly, trying to look disinterested, getting back to checking her phone screen.
I found myself suppressing a laugh at her brooding reaction. After some fifteen seconds..
Yes! I was actually counting the seconds passing by.. as I spoke.
"So..you came here straight or..." I drawled, trying to make a small talk.
"Straight here! Why do you ask?" She rose a brow.
"I-I...Just like that!" I stuttered, not knowing what exactly to say.
I knew when she was trying too hard to look all tough and stubborn. She isn't the one to sulk and not talk. She'd rather give me a piece of her mind, but I didn't know what was she upto now..
"So why isn't the lecturer here yet? I wonder why they keeping getting late, especially this one." I tried to start a conversation, not straightly laughing into her face.
