Chapter 32. Whipped

NICK's POV

I am driving off to Seth's house - my best mate. I know I tricked Andria into staying at my place but she wasn't going to cave in any other way. I knew mom would be amused to see her for I never came home with a girl ever in my entire life. She secretively knows about how I am outside of this house but never gets worked up about it! That's what I love about her the most. She just lets me be... for she knows I will never bring bad name to my family.

Anyway, right now my only focus is Andria.

She refused me. Big mistake!

All I wanted was for her to let me have a day from her life.

But of course, the tough nut that she is, I wouldn't be able to do it by simply asking her out on a date.

For heaven's sake - I said it on her face that I love her! But she just acts like nothing ever happened.

We barely can keep ourselves from coming close whenever we are together and she knows it!

But in the next moment, I am a complete 'Mr. stranger' to her. Why does she keep doing that?

This intrigues me about her. With her, I feel a connection deeper than just physical. I want her to know that.

I feel like she is hiding behind a mask. Something holds her back from living as much she could. I will bring her out of her shell and that starts today!

*At Seth's house*

Seth and I grew up playing together, schooling together and then partying and biking together. We are inseparable friends. He is the only person who knows me in and out. Whenever I have rough days, he is my go to person. We were always the cool kids who never looked beyond the best. We live for fun and challenges - from sky diving, to surfing in the riskiest beaches, we have done it all and now, we nail every bike race, but thankfully we've got different tastes in woman. And piercings! He is pierced at pretty much every inch of his body.

Right now, I am just coming here to avoid Andria. I know she will be really, really mad at me and I wanted a place to stay away and think things through. She has no idea what I am planning to do..

"What's up, Mate? Why did you drop the practices today?" We are sitting at a customised bar in his house for a couple of beers.

Seth also grew up in a very wealthy family.  Apparently, we are business partners and our dads run together the resort businesses all over the state.

"Nothing mahn! Just taking a break." I have come here to give Andria some time to sink in this whole thing. I know she is uncomfortable around me but I will not let her be for too long..

I know she wasn't anticipating all this at all!

I tricked her but I just can't let her be far and alone. And now when her mother is away, I know I can make good use of this opportunity...

And also to avoid my Mom... I know she is dead curious about this girl. Ever since she saw her photo in my phone - while I was in the bath today and she had brought me breakfast, she has been pestering me to make her meet Andria!

Yes she knows about her now!

And yes! I captured her in a shot where she was all lost and by herself at the fresher's evening. She looked jaw-droppingly beautiful! Apparently, I have kept an eye on her right from the time I landed my eyes on her. But last night, I just wanted to have a picture of her. I couldn't stop myself while I was observing her from behind a bar. But she never saw me there until of course, I held her captive in the restroom.
