I wake up and notice blood in the toilet from last night. Frantically I check myself over, instantly relieved when I find no injuries. Of course I'm fine, I must have grazed my elbow or something drunk.

But the anxiety returns when I use the bathroom again, noticing more blood before I flush.

Refusing to think much of it since I know I'll heal, I get ready and decide to visit Camille across the hall. She was lovely yesterday, I'm looking forward to getting to know her more.

"Cami," I knock on her door with coffee and pastries, hearing her heartbeat and knowing she's awake.

"Heya," she opens the door in her pyjamas with her hair thrown into a messy bun. When her eyes spot the food I've brought over they light up.

"I thought we could do with some caffeine and sugar to get ourselves through this morning," I add happily when she ushers me in with a smile.

"Thank you it's perfect," she expresses her gratitude and we sit and enjoy our breakfast together in her kitchen.

It's the weekend so we don't have anywhere to be. I tell her about the magic within me that is almost bursting out. She listens patiently and offers to help look for a solution.

I can see why Marcel was drawn to her, she's an incredibly beautiful woman with a sharp mind. I can see why he loves her too, she is one of a kind. I've never met anyone else so boldly fearless. It's admirable she is striving for such peace and harmony among all factions in New Orleans. Not prioritising one over the next.

It doesn't take long before I have to excuse myself to answer my phone that won't stop buzzing. Cami thanks me again for the food and company and I return to my apartment to speak with Klaus on the phone.

"Where are you?" He barks down the phone. "You can't disappear like this."

I take a deep breath and start explaining again but I know he's hardly listening. Finally, I agree to meet him in the compound again, just to put everyone's concerns to bay.

I'm fine and they need to respect my space. I'm not leaving completely, only living somewhere else for the moment.

When I arrive at the compound, Klaus whisks me to a private study.

"I daggered him," he announces proudly, very pleased with himself.

Anger bubbles up and I have to concentrate hard to keep the Harvest magic contained.

"You can come back home properly now love. The problem is gone. He's in a box."

My mouth falls open at his audacity and assumption that I would be pleased too.

"Niklaus undagger your brother NOW."

Nik does a double take. "I thought you'd be pleased," he says hotly his cheeks flaming red.

"No," I snap. "No matter what he's done, I love him."

"I'll undagger him now if you promise to stay here," Nik tries to bargain, infuriating me further.

"No," refuse putting my foot down. "I'll only come home once I've fully made up with you all. All of you. You, Kol and Elijah."

Nik huffs, very unhappy with what I've said. However he does agree, realising my mind is made up and arguing is futile.

But then Kol appears, lingering in the doorway silently vying for my attention.

"Kol?" I question nervously. I don't know how angry he still is with me risking my life with blood magic the other day. I feel so guilty and all I want to do is make up and apologise.
