"Don't you dare laugh at me," I scowl furiously at Klaus who is biting his lip to stop from chortling.

"Fox blood?" He double checks he's heard me correctly and when I affirm it he turns his back to me, presumably hiding his laughter.

Kol isn't so subtle, he laughs right in my face.

"Kol why are you being mean?" My eyes start to water and I feel so silly for getting upset about my pregnancy cravings. "I can't help what this baby wants or how I feel, now GO. And make sure it's a red fox, not a grey one."

I send them off with the instruction to be quick.

My wife then comes in with a beautiful smile lighting up her face. She is dressed in a gorgeous jacket that I might have to steal for my own outfits occasionally.

"Fia honey, how are you feeling?" She asks and it irritates me for no reason at all.

"Beks I am tearing my hair out. I'd forgotten how awful hormones can make me feel, I want to murder everyone for breathing down my neck so much."

"It's just the baby," she tries to reassure me while sitting down on the bed and handing me a cup of green tea.

"Well this baby had better come out soon or I'll likely divorce you all," I snap at her before sighing. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean that."

"I heard you're craving fox blood," she brushes off my mood swings without a second thought.

"They're already taking too long," I grumble even though they've hardly left the compound so far.

"I'll go with them, it will stop them fighting and we'll be back before you know it."

"They'd better not fight or I'll be having more words with them both. Klaus promised me," I mutter under my breath but of course, she can hear me.

"I'll make sure everything runs smoothly, don't worry honey," she gives me a tender kiss before heading after them, catching up quickly.

Waiting hours and hours, I avoid the conversation with Elijah that I know needs to happen. Right now, I will probably just scream at him because I need that fox blood. I won't be fair or reasonable.

"Kol what took you so long," I moan when he comes back. Beks follows quickly behind him panic in her eyes.

"We've got you some but it's grey fox not red," Kol nervously holds up a container of blood that makes my stomach contract and I hurl into a bin.

Beks quickly takes it out of the room and I get very upset.

"I said red not grey," I burst into tears at their incompetence.

"Nik is still out searching in the Bayou, we wanted to give you something while you wait," Kol informs me fast when he sees how distressed I am.

I feel stupid and silly for making a fuss over it but the only thing I can stomach right now is red fox blood. How can it be so hard for three Originals? Seriously?

"Please just get out," I point to the door and they exchange a glance, unsure whether they should comply or not. "I don't want to yell, but I am not feeling particularly reasonable right now."

They scuttle to the door appreciating my explanation without a second word. I don't want to hurt them but I will if they stay. I hear them talk to Elijah downstairs and head back out. Then he comes to knock on my door.

"Ophelia, how can I-"

"-red fox blood," I interrupt. "Just bring me some or don't bother coming back."
