Oscar didn't expect Axel would be nearby hearing their conversation on the phone and when he heard his voice, his jaw almost dropped when the rich billionaire daddy popped in to say hi on the phone. Nonetheless, he tried to remain cool and greet him back in a friendly manner.
Oscar: He stuttered a bit. Uhh, h-h-hey man. Yeah, the name is Oscar...Wait, did Marcus talk to you about me too?
Oscar: I didn't know you were listening to what we're saying in the background. Didn't hear ya.
Axel: He chuckled. Ahh, yes. Your idiot buddy has nothing to hide as everything stays inclusive with no secrets hidden.
Axel: Just thought it'll be awesome to stop by and say hey. How are things back in Sweden for you?
Feeling frustrated and irritated at Axel snatching the phone away from his hands, he attempted to snatch his phone back from Axel.
Marcus: What the- Give me back my f**king phone, you bossy bull!
Axel deftly dodged his grasp, holding the phone out of reach with a mischievous grin.
Axel: He teased, wagging his finger playfully. Ah, ah, ah.
Axel: Not so fast, you stubborn mule. Let's keep things interesting for a while, shall we?
Axel: Still ain't done chatting with your cool friend.
Marcus: He scowled. Nah, I'm serious. Give it back to me NOW or else I'mma smack and break that jaw off of your square face.
Oscar: He tried to answer Axel's last question. Pretty chill. Nothing extraordinary but nothing too bad either.
Axel: Still not feeling threatened, he said towards Marcus. Ta, ta, ta. Where did your big ego go, Marcus? Did it get flushed down the toilet?
Oscar: I'm gonna be heading out now. I gotta go, see you.
Oscar: You two both have a great rest of your day in Spain.
Axel: Heading out where?
But before he could ask, Oscar hung up after hearing Marcus rage on the other side of the phone before things got more heated between Marcus and Axel. As the call ended, Axel handed Marcus back his phone with a smirk, clearly amused by the exchange.
Axel: Oh, look. Your friend just hung up on me. Too bad you scared the poor guy away with your loud voice.
Axel: But here you go...See, I didn't check any of your messages.
Marcus, still simmering with frustration, pocketed his phone without another word, shooting Axel a glare before returning to the table.
Marcus: Y-You had no right to do that! I wanted my privacy for just one second.
Axel: Uh-huh. Sure you do. But I'm afraid it's literally impossible to keep secrets from a bossy bull like me.
Axel: Now won't you come out of the bathroom and sit right back down with us?
Axel: Wouldn't wanna keep your beloved waiting, would you?
Marcus: He rolled his eyes and said. Fine, I'll come. Thanks a bunch for disrupting the peace.
He frustratingly walked right past Axel and opened the bathroom door to head back to the table where his girlfriend Alexa and Axel's girlfriend Megan were waiting. Despite being greatly annoyed by Axel, Marcus restrained himself from getting physical and acting more immature. Back in Stockholm, a certain someone was in the local gym that Marcus and Oscar usually attend to. It was Marcus's ex Delilah, but she wasn't exercising like her sister Jeanette and everyone else. She was busy checking out Marcus's post on Instagram through her fake backup account she uses to stalk him. She has been liking every reel, story, and solo picture he posted for the past few days, and the more she stared at pictures of him and Alexa together, the more jealous she felt.
Jeanette: You know, sis...The purpose of going to a gym is to actually work out and get your body moving.
Delilah: She looked up and said. Yeah, I was just about to.
Jeanette: Then she noticed the screen on Delilah's phone. Don't tell me you're snooping on Marcus's Instagram.
Delilah: Umm, no. Why would I? I'm over him. I thought some other guy dmed me.
Jeanette: Hmm...mmm. But isn't that his most recent post? Heck, I can even see his profile pic and the fact you hearted it.
Jeanette: Did you create a fake account to stalk him? Stop playing dumb, Delilah.
Delilah: Alright, alright. You caught me. I just can't forget about Marcus...He and I were the perfect pair.
Delilah: I miss the times we had and I bet he hasn't forgotten about me either.
Jeanette: Sis, He already moved on from you ages ago and now he's with that new girl.
Jeanette: He unfollowed and blocked you everywhere after the breakup. He basically broke off all contact with you...
Delilah: Well, he didn't block my Snapchat. So that means deep down somewhere in that steel heart of his, he misses me.
Delilah: And this Alexa girl isn't that wow...Such a downgrade after me.
As she and her sister Jeanette were talking, Oscar finally arrived at the gym to do warm ups and weightlifting while his girl Anya was busy shopping and enjoying girly moments with her other friends. This was her chance to ask him about her ex Marcus.
Jeanette: Oh my god...You won't believe this, but Oscar just walked in.
Jeanette: I think we should go before he sees us, sis.
Then Delilah approached Oscar and cleared her throat before speaking, trying to sound friendly and casual.
Delilah: Heyyy, Oscar! Long time no see...How's it going?
Oscar was a bit surprised but weirded out seeing Delilah at the gym since he never expected to bump into her.
Oscar: Umm, hey...Delilah. I didn't expect you to show up here after 4 years.
Delilah: Well, 3 years 10 months and 27 days and 5 hours to be exact. But who's counting, haha...
Oscar: Trying to keep his tone neutral. Okay, uhm...So you're working out now? I thought the gym wasn't your thing.
Delilah: A lot's changed since then. Now, I'm here all the time.
Delilah: But since you're here, I wanna ask about Marcus. How come he's not with you?
Oscar: He's on vacation with his new girl in another country.
Oscar: But that's none of your business. He deserved way better than being with you.
Oscar: Not sure why you care, but is that the reason you came to this gym? To stalk us?
Delilah: What? No, definitely not. I didn't know you guys worked out here.
Delilah: Why are you talking to me in such a gruff tone? You've always been nice to me, Oscar.
Oscar: I'm not obliged to be nice to any ex that was clingy and backstabbed my childhood best friend when she didn't get what she wanted.
Oscar: I was only nice to you for his sake. I honestly never liked you for him.
Oscar: Thought you felt good fingering another cock while his poor dad was dying in the hospital.
Delilah: H-How could you say-
Oscar: You're the reason why he almost lost hope in love.
Delilah: It was a stupid mistake...I was just angry at him at the time.
Oscar: So that validates cheating? Trust me, he's better off with a honest and down to earth woman than with an immature whiny b*tch like you.
Delilah: But I still love him! His new girl can never make him happy like I could.
Oscar: Save your breath. He doesn't give a sh*t. He stopped caring once you cheated.
Oscar: All you did was teach him to live without you.
