Marcus rolled his eyes as Axel was being smart with his communication skills. Deep down, he knew that he had a long way to go in terms of manhood compared to Axel who is more mature and experienced than him in sarcastic matters. He backed down and grudgingly accepted that he felt defeated upon meeting Axel.

Marcus: Okay, you got me, genius. I feel "so" attacked after taking a glimpse of the so-called king of the jungle.

Marcus: I dislike acknowledging the power of his royalty over mine, but I dislike turning down a challenge from him even more.

Axel: Sorry, dude. One can't win them all, can't they?

Axel: But that's okay. Maybe one day if you get to the same level of charisma as me, it'll be your turn to take the place of the throne.

Megan decided to say something as she continued to glance over at Alexa being all bashful and red all over her cheeks over Axel and the way he talks. She didn't want her to feel like the fourth wheel of the group while they're out dining, so she tried to get Alexa to talk more.

Megan: So how are you liking this place, Alexa? It's one of our favorite places to eat.

Alexa: Umm, it's really great. They did a great job perfecting the decor and everything.

Megan: I'm delighted to hear that, bestie. Me and my goofy bear came here last time to celebrate our first anniversary together.

Megan: I hope he's not overwhelming you with his jokes.

Alexa: Oh no, he's not. He can joke as much as he wants.

Megan: That's good. By the way, how long are you and Marcus planning to stay here?

Alexa: For a week. We're only here to spend the holidays.

Axel: JUST a week? Isn't that too short? How long does your break last?

Marcus: Dude, why do you care? Our next semester starts in 2 months.

Marcus: I mean we wouldn't wanna spend too much time in another country and neglect our friends back home who need us to spend time with them too.

Alexa: Yeah and plus, I need to prepare myself for my classes next semester and an interview for a part time job.

Alexa: I also need to buy some textbooks to buy along with pencils and notebooks to write stuff.

Megan: Girl, you're on a holiday and you barely started chilling. You shouldn't get so caught up with thinking about "I need to do this" or "I need to do that".

Megan: Life isn't all about responsibilities. It's no big deal if you didn't work or study for one day.

Megan: And since you are here in Spain with the love of your life, all you should think about is having fun.

Axel: You hear that, Alexa? Besides, you and your man have so much to learn and explore in this vast world.

Axel: And I think you guys should stay here an extra week. One week isn't enough to revel in the joy of encountering a place with so much culture and history.

Marcus: That's not for you to decide. I already arranged for our flight back home on Sunday afternoon.

Axel: Nah, change of plans, pretty boy. You're staying here with your beloved for 2 weeks, not one. Period.

Axel: You still haven't seen enough of this city's beauty.

Marcus: He rolled his eyes again and thought to himself. Ugh, such a f**king bossy nagger. He can't accept no, can he?
