After the hospital visit, Marcus carefully drove Alexa back to her apartment, his concern evident in the way he held the steering wheel. Marcus: Let me know if it still hurts...That must've been extremely traumatic for you.

Marcus: You know I'd do anything to protect you...No one hurts what's dear to me.

Alexa: You really are the headstrong lion I've needed since I was a teen.

Marcus: And you really are the chaotic smart kitty I've needed practically my entire life.

Alexa: Well, kitties are just like lions deep down. I've always been a sucker for "bad boys" like you who take no b*llshit.

Marcus: Ahh, observant are you? That's true. I take no b*llshit from anyone.

Marcus: I knew on the first day we met, you're more than just a pretty face.
