Fírnen was excited because they still had time with Saphira and Eragon. They were getting ready to leave Ilirea for Ellesmera. Eragon had invited his cousin, Roran, his cousin's wife, Katrina, and their daughter, Ismira to join them. They were going to ride with Arya and Fírnen while Eragon gathered the eggs from the Vault of Souls to leave Alagaësia for the eggs' protection. Eragon would, however leave two eggs with Arya for the urgals and the dwarves, for they too were going to join the bond between dragons and other races. Before they left Birgit stopped them and demanded a blood price from Roran, but Roran did not struggle, so Birgit took a bit of blood from his hand. After, both dragons bent their legs and took flight.
They were soon at Ellesmera. Arya unbuckled everyone's legs straps, including her own. She helped everyone off Fírnen and looked around. It was nearly evening so she gave her passengers a room in Tialdarí hall to stay in and went to her own room and slept.
The next morning, she showed Eragon's family around Ellesmera and gave them tours of every garden. It was once again evening and everyone went to bed.
The next morning was much of the same activities, except for that she was planning a feast for tonight.
Eragon arrived right before the feast and announced his departure was tomorrow morning. In the meantime they all had fun and stuffed themselves with food, enjoying the company of friends and family. They all retired for the night.
The next morning, Arya, Eragon, and Roran met with Blödhgarm and his remaining spellcasters and sailed off on the ship called the Talíta and the dragons flew overhead. Until they arrived at a trading post between the dwarves and the elves, that is. They stayed a couple nights and when they departed, Orik, king of the dwarves gave Saphira a ring for her claw that would never scratch or stain, and allow her to sneak up on her prey without them hearing her, and for Eragon he gave a basket of gold and gems. The trading post was where Roran departed and returned on a horse from the dwarves to Ellesmera. Eragon had given him the basket of gold and gems, so he could build his castle in Palancar Valley, for Queen Nasuada had given him control over the valley. Eragon also gave the two elves Arya had entrusted with the two eggs that were to stay in Alagaësia the two eggs. A big red egg with veins of white for the urgals, and a small grey egg the color of stone for the dwarves. Arya stayed with Eragon until the first bend in the river, for he had asked her to. Then Fírnen swept her off the boat and into the air.
