Do you know a way out of here? 16/10

Ominis and Sebastian had a fight that lasted weeks now, you didn't know what was about, none of them would tell you what happened, but they had been ignoring each other and you couldn't take it anymore. You knew them too well to see they were sad about it, anyone could tell, so you did the only thing you could do in a situation like that, lock them in a small room until they solved their fight.

"MC LET US OUT!" shouted Ominis from inside the broom closet.

"No until you solve this fight" you told them from the other side of the door.

"Step aside" said Sebastian from the other side of the door. "Alohomora" he cast, unsuccessfully "What on Merlin's name? MC! What did you do?"

"Nice try, but only I can open that door. So start talking it out" You'd to thank Mr Moon later for teaching you a level 3 Alohomora, without it you couldn't upgrate the contraspell Colloportus and both had came really in handy lately.

"I told you MC, we are not fighting." said Sebastian and punched the door.

"Of course you are! Since that Griffyndor party, you have barely stayed in the same room. I went to dance with Poppy, and the next thing I knew you two are nowhere to be found and you have been avoiding each other ever since. I don't know what happened but I miss my friends, so please can you talk it out? For me?" you begged.

You heard silence for a moment followed by Ominis punching the door harder than Sebastian.

"LET. US. OUT"

"I'm gonna go" you punched the door back to make him stop "I'll come back in 15 minutes, when I get back either you solve this or give me a real explanation of what happened." and you marched away.

"MC, COME BACK. Fuck!"

They were trapped. Sebastian sat on the floor while Ominis kept knocking on the door hoping a professor could hear them and let them out. 

After a couple of minutes Sebastian decided to talk "So what is it going to be? Tell MC the truth or pretend we made up?" he asked.

"Neither!" Ominis finally gave up on the door but didn't turn in Sebastian's way.

"Do you know a way out of here? Because the only one I know is through that locked door, so you have to choose."

"I'll take that as a confirmation that you haven't told MC anything" he resigned and sat down

"Yes, I did. That's why we are here. Of course I haven't, Ominis!" said Sebastian, hurt by the question.

"Well, it's better if we keep it that way. Let us put this behind us and pretend it never happened" suggests Ominis.

"There is just one problem with that" Sebastian put on his arrogant attitude "I don't want to."

"Oh Merlins, why do you have to be this childish?" Ominis felt a broom beside him and threw it in Sebastian's direction, hoping to aim at his head but he missed.

"Childish? Who is the one throwing brooms and who wants to pretend like nothing happened instead of talking about it?"

"You know why" he shouted

"I DON'T, OMINIS. And it hurts me that you are avoiding me." Sebastian sighed in frustration. "I tried to give you space but I need to talk about it and you are the only one I can talk to"

He kept quiet for what felt like an eternity to Sebastian.

Ominis knew that feeling. Even though he didn't wanna talk about what happened, Merlin's beard he didn't even want to acknowledge it ever happened, he wanted to talk to Sebastian, more than anything. 

"Fine. It happened. Are we done?" 

Sebastian had enough, if Ominis wasn't going to talk about it, he would.

"We fucked, Ominis! I thought it would be a bigger deal for you." Ominis tensed after hearing those words, the ones he had been avoiding all this time.

"Would you keep it down!" He crawled to Sebastian and covered his mouth with his hand "Nothing would have happened if you hadn't  kissed me first."

"Please, it is not like anyone can hear us" Sebastian uncovered his mouth and pushed Ominis aside "What does it matter if I kissed you first, you fucked me and I know you enjoyed it as much as I did!"

"Shut up!"

"NO"

"I was drunk" Ominis excused himself, but Sebastian was done playing nice.

"No, you weren't. And you didn't even pretend to be drunk, first of all, because I know you didn't drink that night, and second, because we have made out before, and every time you pretend to be drunk. You stay in bed the next morning, pretending to have a hangover, and every time I go with it even though it wounds me. You could have done the same thing this time but you didn't and I want to know why"

"Why are you telling me this now, Sebastian?" Ominis's voice was bearly a whisper.

"Because I'm fucking mad"

"You are mad?"

"Yes, I am! Do you know how these couple of weeks have been for me? That night..." Sebastian took a deep breath before keep talking "It was great, Ominis. It wasn't the first time... but I felt so happy when you kissed me back and later well, when I fell asleep with you in my arms I thought maybe this time would be different, you felt the same way that I do..."

"Sebastian..."

"But when I woke up you were gone. When I found you you didn't speak to me, every time I entered a room you fled. You don't even talk to me during classes, you changed partners in potions, and you even have been sleeping on the Undercroft. Do you know how much it hurts?!" Sebastian felt tears going down his cheeks and for the first time thank Ominis couldn't see him.

"Sebastian I'm so sorry"

"I don't want an apology. I want to know why are you acting like this. If you think it was a mistake I get it, but just said it to my face."

Ominis crawled to Sebastian and cleaned the tears with his sleeve. Sebastian was embarrassed but he didn't stop Ominis.

"I don't think it was a mistake" Ominis caressed Sebastian's cheek softly "That morning I was panicking, I didn't ever remember to pretend to be drunk. I'm sorry I hurt you, but I can't be near you because our encounter can't happen again, ever. I won't risk my family finding out about it" Ominis sat again, this time next to Sebastian. He withdrew his hand but Sebastian took it between his.

"Since when do you care what your family thinks?"

"I won't risk them hurting you, Sebastian. I... I can't shake this feeling of something happening to you because of me and I can't bear it." Ominis could feel his eyes watering, he hated that feeling.

Sebastian placed Omini's hand on his chest, close to his heart.

"Nothing is going to happen to me Ominis, I promise. You don't have to stay away from me."

"Yes, I have to" Ominis withdrew from Sebastian's touch "At least until my feelings go away."

"W-what feeling?" Sebastian's voice was full of hope.

"I believe I don't have to explain them to you since you admitted to having them for... for me."

Both boys blushed and kept quiet for a moment.

"For how long?" asked Sebastian.

"I'm not sure. What about you?"

"No idea, I guess they grew until I noticed."

They bought laugh a little. "We don't have to sort it out now, you know. Our feelings, or relationship status" said Sebastian.

"But how can we go back to the way it was?" asked Ominis.

"I don't know if we can't. I just know that we solved this fight and we are talking, we can go slow for now. Also so MC let us out of here."

"You are right. We can be civilized until we solve this. Just promise you won't make a fuss about it, I need to keep this private"

"I promise as long as you let me cuddle with you at night" Sebastian got closer and hugged Ominis, he laughed about it and gave Sebastian a quick pick.

"Deal. But now change the subject before MC gets back, please"

They started talking about school, sorting if it would be a good idea to go back to being potion partners, while they waited for you. What neither of them knew was that you were at the other side of the door covering your mouth in shock. You had been there the whole time and heard everything. You got up and pretended to walk near the door and gave it a little knock.

"Did you two make up?" you asked.

"It's okay MC, we solved the fight" said Sebastian.

"Can you please open this door?" asked Ominis

"Fine. I'm sorry I had to do this" You weren't sorry at all, but right now your head was full of other thoughts. Going back now you couldn't believe you didn't see the sights of your two best friends having feelings for each other"Just promise you won't be mad and I'll buy you some butter beers"

"Deal" said both of them.

You opened the door and hugged them both before they could go out.

"I'm so glad you made up. I couldn't bear it any longer you idiots" They grinned and hugged you back "I love you both"

"And we love you too, MC" they answered, and Ominis added "Now, let's go grab that butter beer before curfew.

You didn't tell them you knew about them. It was their secret and you would make sure it stayed that way as long as they wanted to.
