"I can't take this any longer. What is going on with you two?" your question took Ominis and Sebastian by surprise. "You have been avoiding me for days now, what's the reason?"

Their eyes went from you to each other. They sat on a bench at the DADA tower, their usual spot. You stood in front of them unwilling to let them go without an answer.

"W-we are not avoiding you" Sebastian was a terrible liar, his nervousness gave him up immediately.

"Sweety, I'm sorry you feel that way. We want some alone time as a couple, that's all" On the other hand, Ominis was a pretty good little liar. You would have believed him if you didn't know them so well.

"Please, you always cancel in advance, but these past days you kept sending me owls to cancel on the spot. To the library, to help me with my beast, even to Hogsmeade and you went anyways! Nati and Poppy saw you at Honeydukes"

"Perhaps we were being spontaneous" You weren't fond of Sebastian's excuses.

"You spontaneous? I can believe it, but Ominis? It would be more believable that Garreth spent an entire week without exploiting any cauldrons." They kept quiet, so you sighed and kept going "Listen, I'm not mad I'm just worried. Did I do something to upset you?"

"Of course not, sweetheart" Ominis's voice was gentle, he tried to calm you down but that made you angrier.

"Then why Sebastian can't look me in the eyes and you can't even say my name?"

He frowned confused "What? I always address you by a pet name"

"Yes, you usually address me as darling. You only call me sweety or sweetheart when you have done something and don't know how to tell me. Like when you took one of my Puffskeins to prank Hobhouse and lost her." you looked at Sebastian, he was staring at you without blinking "Seb quit it! Now you're making too much eye contact"

"Sorry" he looked away, then back at you, and then at Ominis, you also looked at him and realized he was slightly blushed.

Ominis sighed "I-I never realized it before, I'm sorry, swe... darling... MC, I..." he was adorable whenever he got nervous.

"Please, just tell me what's wrong" They stood silent, Sebastian reached for Ominis's hand and squished it.

"All right, meet me in the Undercroft after your potions class," said Ominis, Sebastian stood up to join you for the class.

"There is no need to wait" you gave out a shy laugh "I came to tell Sebastian class got canceled, I was too mad at you and I forgot."

"Good to know you have your priorities in order, love" Sebastian gave you a crocked smile and Ominis looked surprised.

"Why? What happened?"

You ignored Sebastian and his pretty smirk and answered Ominis. "Garreth happened. He was experimenting this morning, something went wrong and they haven't been able to clear the classroom from the smell"

"Is it that bad?" Ominis made a disgusted face. An unsaid question of, why would you want to know? Crossed Sebastian's eyes.

"It is. He was trying to make a reverse Amortentia, so it smells like the things that disgust you the most"

"So you are telling me the Potions classroom stinks like Hobhouse? Disgusting" You and Sebastian laughed but Ominis was serious "Thank Merlin I don't have to take that class anymore"

"I still miss you there, Omi" Sebastian placed his brow on Ominis's.

You looked at them with a smile, longing for something you couldn't place. You loved your friends and loved them as a couple, so you couldn't place the odd feeling that haunted you every time they shared a lovely moment like that.
