Ch. 7 - Her Pursuasion

"Hello, Elior."

Caia greeted him in delight despite his sudden visit. Hindi ito ang unang beses ngunit mukhang kailangan niya na talagang masanay. It's like masking herself 24/7, not even a blink of rest on her own damn room.

Wala namang imik si Amor Fati na patuloy lang siyang tinitigan. His eyes are literally examining her inner self, her soul which made her conscious and slightly uncomfortable. Gusto man niyang tumayo ay nanatili siyang nakaupo dahil pagod na talaga siya. She doesn't even work that hard back in Lumien. She likes fighting more than doing paper works.

"If you don't want your soul to weaken, you should know how to take a break. Pushing a one day deadline is extremely unnecessary," he explained.

Walang pasabi ay bigla siyang lumapit kay Caia at hinawi ang buhok nito. He quickly reached for her ears and suddenly pinched a small golden jewel in it. Sa sobrang bilis nang pangyayari ay hindi na nakapag-react si Caia.

"What is this?" tanong na lang niya.

Amor Fati crossed his arms as he looked at her. "Let's just say it's for stubborn people like you. Do not remove it, though I reckon if you can even do."

'I didn't expect for him to care so much about such details,' isip ni Caia.

She finally stood up and then hooked her arm into his. Their bodies are touching side to side. Naramdaman niya ang bahagyang pagkagulat nito na ikinatuwa niya. Though she mentally heaved a sigh when he did not backed away from her touch.

"I am sorry for wasting your time. I just thought it would be a good idea to show off my talents," paliwanag niya.

Kinilabutan siya sa paraan ng pagsasalita niya. She's the type to be wooed not the one to pursue anyone. The only good thing about this is she's amused about his reactions. He's the most stoic person she have met, though he's gentle at the same time.

"Rest is a must, lady. Your ideas are good and innovative. You can continue doing that method but without a passing deadline. Continue it at your own usual phase," he said.

In between those words, he tried to distance himself gently but Caia only tightened her grip into his arm.

'You must learn not to enter a lady's room, Elior,' isip niya. Her lips are secretly in a playful grin.

"Bakit ka lumalayo? You're still mad?" she asked.

She even closed their distance by hugging him in front and looking up to meet his pair of silver golden eyes. Those just became her favorite part of his face.

"I am not, so restrain yourself Lady Caia," sambit ni Amor Fati.

"No one's looking anyway. We are in my room."

Pagkatapos sabihin iyon ni Caia ay tumingkayad siya. She gave him a small kiss on his cheeks. They did have a direct kiss already but that was different. It was during a ritual so that doesn't mean anything for her. They are still someone who can't be considered close enough to do that anytime. Hindi rin niya alam kung hanggang saan aabot ang pasensiya ni Amor Fati sa kanya.

She smiled after and then sat on her bed. Nakalimutan niyang pagod siya at ayaw naman niyang ipakita sa kaharap ito.

"Is there anything else aside from that current work? I am quite sleepy, your grace," she said, back in her formal tone.

Yumuko naman nang walang imik si Amor Fati. She does now know that he is up to something when he acts without words. True enough, he really did.

After gently touching the back of her neck, he went in for a direct kiss. It was not just touching but he is moving his lips into hers. If he was not a divine, she would have thought he have lots of experiences. The truth though is it must have been knowledge imparted into his mind as soon as he was created.

Just as she unconsciously moved hers too, he stopped. His eyes moved to meet hers, still their lips touching. She only can breathe properly when he backed away a little so he could speak.

"Do not move. I am transferring some energy into you," he whispered.

The need to whisper only clouded Caia's mind. It did not matter how clean his intentions was. His low voice is definitely enchanting her. And just before she nods, he went back into doing his work.

She does not understand anything anymore as he continued moving his tongue inside her mouth. Nadatnan na lang din niyang nakahiga na siya sa kama. He was still above her, kissing her, a way to transfer energy as he said.

Caia's just glad she doesn't have to force herself to sit. Who would have the strength when someone like Amor Fati is kissing her? She would be fooling herself if she denied being disappointed after the whole thing has ended.

"That would last you a whole year. Do not waste my energy, Caia," he uttered.

"Then after that?" biglang tanong ni Caia.

His brow raised a bit. "You would have been accustomed to this immortal realm. You won't be needing my energy," saad niya.

Disappointment is visible in her eyes. It is the truth that she did not even bother hiding. She's one who seldoms show her real feelings.

He fixes her untidy hair and neatly sat on her bed. Then he said, "You wanted my energy that much? You would have your own better energy someday."

"Anyway, I will be going. Rest as much as you needed, good night," dugtong niya.

'That's not even what I am talking about,' isip ni Caia.

Despite what happened, he is still the same immortal who do not have any idea how mortals form special bonds.

"And did just I get wooed by such a person?!" sambit niya at ibinaon ang mukha sa kanyang unan.

She was the one who is supposed to make him fluster and not the other way around. Naisip na lang niya na pagod lang siguro siya. She might not fold that easily if she is in her best condition.

"Remind yourself Caia, this is not how you are back in Lumien. Do not show yourself easily into other people. Elior is just another stranger. He is not a family," she said to herself.
