After fighting, Caia stood at the center of the forest. The monsters already vanished in this area yet the darkness are still lingering in the air up to the skies. She wanted to do something about it as the villagers in this town deserves to see the sun. It will serve as their hope and potentially be praying and worshipping the God of Light.
"Absorb the darkness, you are part of me," she whispered.
Tinuktok ng malakas ni Caia ang sandata niya sa lupa. The vibrations of the darkness from the scythe went to the surroundings and began harvesting the scattered black particles in the air and in the clouds. Dahil malaki ang lugar na ito ay natagalan si Caia at masyado na rin siyang maraming nakukuhang kadiliman sa maikling oras kaya naramdaman niya ang pagbigat ng kanyang katawan.
Hinigpitan niya ang hawak sa sandata upang 'di siya matumba.
Samantala, naramdaman ni Noel ang unti-unting pagliwanag sa paligid ngunit naramdaman niya rin na nag-titipon ang kadiliman sa isang parte lamang. It is a very concentrated darkness. If Caia is the one absorbing it then it's good but if it is the enemy, the situation will turn against them.
"Uhm, Caia's messengers, Sir Osiris and Sir Claude, can you bring us to Caia? I know you can also feel something strange," sambit niya.
"Tama ka," Addie commented. Bigla naman siyang napapikit dahil sa sinag ng araw. Sa tagal nilang naninirahan sa lugar na ito ay 'di na nakakapagtaka na hindi na sila sanay sa ganitong liwanag.
Tumango naman si Claude at tumingin kay Osiris.
"Osiris, you will be on the front, while I will stay behind them."
"Sige."
Pagkatapos ay nagmadali silang apat na puntahan si Caia. Pagdating nila ay walang kalaban si Caia pero sa hitsura niya ay mukhang nahihirapan siya.
"Caia, that's enough for now! Magpahinga ka muna," sabi ni Noel.
Napalingon si Caia sa kanila at tumigil. They're right, she have to stop, but not because she's tired. Her immortal powers will leak into the mortal world if she continues to absorb more than she could daily, and she can't unleash all her raw mana in here. As an immortal, her mana and energy capacity is more than what a single world can handle, even if she's only a demigod.
Lumapit sa kanya si Addie at hinawakan ang kanyang kamay. She felt a light to her hand, coming from her aunt. It's very comforting.
"When do you have this powers?" tanong ni Caia.
"Since I've become the Saint's consort. He needs a helper so I volunteered," Addie answered.

Nang makabalik naman sila sa maliit na bayang tinutuluyan nila ay maraming tao ang nasa labas. Lahat sila ay nagtataka dahil bigla na lang lumiwanag ang paligid.
"Everyone, listen to me.."
Nagsimulang magpaliwanag sina Noel at Addie. Maraming nalito pero 'di kalaunan ay naintindihan nila ang sitwasyon. Sa kinatatayuan naman ni Caia ay naramdaman niya ang isang bata. As a child, this phenomenon is strange and scary.
Lumuhod siya upang makapantay ang bata.
'It's indeed a good thing I don't have blood all over myself,' isip niya. The scythe absorbs all the monsters existence so there are literally no bloodshed. That way, the people won't be that scared of her.
She patted the child's head and pointed at the sun. "Do you see that? Those monsters won't come here anymore," she uttered.
"R-really?"
"Yes."
The child then ran to her mother so Caia stood up now. This continent is huge, there are many towns who are still suffering the same fate. It's easy to say she can do it, but it will take for long that it will be a mundane task. Her messengers noticed her silence.
"Is there something wrong, milady?" tanong ni Claude.
Her eyes moved towards him and said, "Do you think I can finish my missions here?"
He then stood proudly. "Of course! After all, you are one of the greatest leader I have met in the immortal world. Even if you used to be a mortal, your upbringing is not to be underestimated, Lady Caia," he uttered.
Nanatili naman sila ng isa pang linggo bago umalis sa bayang ito. They have to teach them the proper way of living, modeled after the towns in Lumien and Milverion. They also built a small altar for the God of Light.
"Finally, we are done," sambit ni Caia.
Pagkatapos ay naglakbay sila sa iba't ibang mga bayan. Maliliit lamang ang mga ito ngunit malawak naman ang mga lupaing hindi natitirahan at napaliligiran ng mga halimaw kaya 'di rin naging madali ang lahat. Sa kabila noon ay nagpatuloy silang apat. They were visiting all the towns while also targetting to go to the castle located at the center of their map.
Right now, they are at the border between a certain town and the danger zone. Mas malalaki ang mga halimaw rito, na parang mga higante pero 'di lang iyon ang nagpabahala kay Caia.
"Wait! Stop for a while!" sigaw niya kina Claude at Osiris.
Agad naman silang sumunod. Lumapit si Caia sa may kalakihang halimaw kumpara sa iba. Ang paglapit niya ay 'yung sapat lang upang 'di siya makita ng halimaw. They thought she just wanted to take care of a larger being herself but she instructed them to cut its neck then carefully dissect the monster's stomach.
Nagulat sila nang may dalawang bata ang nasa tiyan nito. Their bodies are completely intact but they are unconscious.
"Ang sabi nila ay wala namang nawawalang bata sa kanilang lugar?" takang sambit ni Addie.
Tumango naman si Noel. "Only their fighters went out to the border to fight a few who attempts to destroy their town."
The further they go, the more capable the townspeople are into fighting monsters which is understandable as they won't survive the deepest parts of the continent if they can't fight. So in this town, they rotate those who are capable into fighting and guard the area so that no children can accidentally be lost into the border. They also do reports from time to time to be sure.
"Kung ganoon ay baka 'di sila taga-rito," sambit ni Addie.
Caia used her healing powers to save them, while Noel helped her. If they are hours late, they wouldn't have survived.
"From looking at their clothes and weapon, it seems like they aren't ordinary people," sambit ni Osiris.
Tama naman siya. Marami na silang napuntahan na mga lugar ngunit malaki ang diperensya ng mga suot nito sa suot ng mga nakasalamuha nila. If the townspeople wore simple clothing in dull colors, the children they saved have a quite an elegant clothing, especially the fine weapons made of steel, adorned with jewels, gold and silver.
"They even have spell books in them. They are mages!" sambit ni Addie at Osiris.
They haven't seen people capable of magic in this town. Most are pure humans and werewolves.
"Calm down, let's postpone our plan and bring these two in the town first," saad ni Noel.
Tumango naman sila pero nagpaiwan si Caia at Osiris. Claude escorted the rest to the town. Gusto kasi malaman ni Caia kung meron pang kasama ang mga bata. She has to make sure.
