Ch. 14 - Relaxed Minds

The winds blew gently even if they are in the third floor outdoor tea area in one side of Amor Fati's white palace. It's akin to a courtyard albeit they are not on the ground floor. Everything on this area screams laziness and relaxation.

This day is so calm for Caia since she was instructed to not do any work until Amor Fati said so. It is because she finished all he wanted her to learn in a very short time. Since she is a workaholic lady, he just stopped giving her any work.

Sina Claude at Osiris naman ay tahimik na nakatayo sa gilid ng mesa. They are only serving her tea and other refreshments like a servant would do.

Hindi naman nakatiis si Caia at tinawag ang atensyon ng dalawa. Dahil lagi na silang magkakasama ay hindi naman masama na kaibiganin sila. Si Sienna nga ay naging malapit na sa kanya kahit na 'di maganda ang una nilang pagkikita.

"Osiris, Claude, join me. You do not need to be reserved in front of me. Relax yourselves and just treat me as a friend. I'm not that strict when I'm not at work," sambit niya.

"B-but--"

Nag-alangan pa si Claude ngunit hinila siya ni Osiris. He's the most friendly out of them two.

"Eat anything you like, and since we are just new to each other, I want to know my messengers better and you have to know me more. You know, that's also one way to make our works more in tune," paliwanag ni Caia.

Isa lang yan sa mga natutunan niya sa kanyang pamilya. Madalas kasi ay gusto niya lang mapag-isa, but her family did all their best so she will have great teamwork with others, albeit she's still most relaxed with her family members.

"What do you want to know about us then, milady?" tanong ni Osiris.

Saglit na nag-isip si Caia. "Hmmm, you said that you are Elior's creation. How old are you?"

"In terms of immortal age, we're only about 500 years old. We're still fledgelings compared to others," sagot naman ni Claude.

Then Osiris happiy uttered, "And you are our first master, Lady Caia. I wish we will be for eternity."

"Well then, we really have to know each other really well if you want to stay by my side," she said.

Then she sipped her tea and added after, "Come to think of it, what do you do and other disciples here during your free time?"

Nagkatinginan ang dalawa niyang kausap, tila nag-iisip at nagtataka sa kanyang tanong.

"We train during free time or sleep for many years to replenish our energy," sagot ni Claude.

'That's it?' isip niya.

She have to introduce them to a new kind of leisure so that they will have drive to work at their best and not laze doing nothing most of the time. At dahil naging masipag naman ang mga disciple ni Amor Fati ay may naisip siyang gawin. Isasama na rin niya sina Claude at Osiris sa kanyang mga plano.

Naging mabilis naman ang paggawa niya ng mga plano makalipas ang ilang araw. Nagtaka pa nga sila kung bakit sila biglang pinatawag ni Caia. Ang iba ay may halong kaba dahil ang akala nila ay bibigyan sila ng panibagong trabaho.

"We're still halfway into the deadline date, Lady Caia..."

"Yes, they are right, Lady Caia," saad ni Sienna.

They are immortals who does not need to sleep daily but they aren't use to their new workloads, seeing from their dull eyes and heavy sighs.

"Do not worry. Nakalimutan niyo na ata ang sinabi ko. I said that I will give you reward if you work hard every time you finished even half of what I told you every month."

Tila biglang nabuhay ang kanilang mga katawan sa sinabi ni Caia. Hindi pa nila alam kung ano ito pero ang mahalaga ay wala silang nadinig na panibagong trabaho. They just couldn't match her work pace. She did work like Amor Fati, and thought that no wonder they match each other well.

Pagkatapos naman noon ay tinanggal na ni Osiris ang magic barrier at bumungad sa kanila ang magandang tanawin at umuusok sa likod noon.

"Let me explain it to you in behalf of milady," panimula ni Claude.

All eyes are on him. "Those at the back are hot springs, they are heated water using spells which is said to relax ones bodies. There are four separate areas, for one for women, men and mixed one. The last one on the farthest end is for Lady Caia's private use, do not enter it unless she says so," he added.

Confusions are visible on their eyes. Immortals are genderless and they can transform to anything they like so the separation is not needed.

Si Osiris naman ang nagsalita, "I can see your confusions. You seem to forget that most of us prefers a certain gender so just choose which you are most comfortable to ensure that all of us can relax without worries."

Then after some instructions like where to leave their clothes and so on, they started getting on to the waters. They are skeptical at first, but their bodies instantly liked how the warm water feels. This is so much different than just uttering a spell to relax your mind and body.

Samantala, si Caia naman ay pumunta sa kanyang sariling lugar. She wanted to bath alone. Nagpresenta pa nga siyang samahan nina Claude at Osiris pero tumanggi siya. Even if they changed to a female form, she still know them as men first. She can't stand facing them without any clothes on.

'Even me can still feel shame,' isip niya.

Pero nagtaka siya nang magbulungan ang dalawa bago umalis kanina. Iyon ang unang beses na ginawa nila ito sa harap niya.

"What in the world are they planning?" she whispered.

Napatigil naman siya nang may marinig siyang mga yapak sa isang tao. Agad na nangunot ang noo niya. She just knew it is not one of her messengers, since she can feel their aura. Once someone became a messenger to another, they will be tied to their master and they will feel their auras whenever they are.

At nasagot ang mga tanong niya nang makita kung sino siya. The person is a naked woman. Her long hair though is covering her delicate body parts.

"W-who are you?!"

The aura felt familiar at first but in the end she didn't know her. Although her long golden hair with silver gradients and golden eye are familiar. Bago sumagot ay lumusong muna ito sa tubig. She's standing near Caia.

"You do not know me? I'm quite sad, Caia," she said.

"E-Elior?" tanong niya.

Amor Fati nodded. "I thought you'll be more comfortable seeing my female form."

Bigla na lang siyang naging lalaki ulit. Napatakip naman ng mga mata niya si Caia. He's literally standing in front of her who is sitting and relaxing in the hot spring, so the first thing she would see is something she would not want to see.

"What the-- No, go back to your female form. Do you not have any shame?"

He became more confused with her actions. She used to close their distance every moment she can but today seems to be the opposite. Kaya naman sinunod na lang niya ang gusto ni Caia. He turned into a woman again.

And when Caia thought they will just relax in the water, she's somehow wrong.
