Caia reached the Goddess of Flowers' realm as soon as she stepped into the portal. The place they are transported isn't at the entrance of a realm but instead, they're sent into a huge garden. There are many kinds of flowers in any direction but the scent isn't clashing. The aroma is satisfying even.
'No garden in the mortal world can even be compared here,' Caia thought.
Samantala may dalawang taong bumati sa pagdating nila. Their thin flowy, colorful and comfortable dresses indeed differs from the people of Amor Fati who wore intricate robes, often only white or blue with golden intricate linings.
Then they greeted her, "Greetings, Lady Caia Amor Fati, the other half of the God of Light. We'll take you to our Goddess."
She is a woman with ethereal looks. Her white long hair reached the ground and are decorated with small delicate flowers. Another eye-catching feature are her dress that is styled like a flower which complimented her white and gold eyes.
'Might as well call her the Goddess of Beauty,' sambit ni Caia.
The Goddess gestured Caia's seat to which she followed while her messengers are standing on her back as though they're her guards. She would have told them to sit on a normal occasion, but since they are in a foreign land, she let them be on guard at all times for today.
"I am Lady Caia Amor Fati and it's a pleasure to be invited by a Goddess," paunang salita ni Caia.
Then she took the tea served by the Goddess' servants. It is slightly pink in color with a white petal swimming above it.
"It's good to meet you too. I am glad you accepted my invitation. And don't be too formal, relax yourself here. After all, you are the God of Light's partner. You don't have to bow down to anyone lower than Amor Fati," the Goddess said and took her own tea.
"Do you like it? Mathilda liked that blossom team so I guess you will like the same," saad niya.
Caia nodded in response. She never really like tea but this one is something else. It doesn't have the bitterness of the tea itself which is the main reason she doesn't like one.
"I definitely like this, Goddess," she uttered.
'Pero hindi naman siguro ito lang ang dahilan kung bakit niya ako naisipang imbitahin?' isip niya.
The Goddess once again smiled at her and said, "I'm glad you like it then. Pero masyado ka namang pormal. Tawagin mo na lang akong Mari Gold, that is my name. You don't have to call me by my official title."
"Alright then, Mari Gold. You can just also call me Caia," sagot ni Caia.
Of course, she researched what she can find about the Goddess of Flowers before this event. Seeing that the Goddess wanted to be called directly by her name, she is planning to form a good relationship with Caia.
"You might be wondering why I called you here. There are several reasons. One of them is that you have to form or have some Gods you can trust. Honestly, I didn't expect Amor Fati to hide you all by himself," Mari Gold said and continued,
"He would have come along if I told him first right?" Her giggles are like music to ones ears, although in this situation, Caia just forced herself to smile.
Since they did not know about the Primordial God's mission to her, they did not have any idea about her real situation with Amor Fati. It would take many days and nights for him to change, and that if her plans became succesful.
"I also heard news about you in his palace. Now, thinking about it, you are indeed the perfect partner for him."
Mari Gold's words took her attention. She might knew something that Caia did not notice. And those might increase her chances with Amor Fati.
Then she asked for her hand.
"You're curious, right? I believe no one can replace your position," panimula niya.
"Why?" tanong ni Caia. It's because she's certain that any of her mother's child can be taken away. It's just that she is the one who chose to sacrifice herself.
"You balance him well. He's the light like how many people know, while you are his darkness. There is no light without the dark. The God of Light is revered by everyone, then there's you. You're a mystery even to the immortals, and that might be why they can't help but to fear you," Mari Gold explained.
Then she proceeded to look into Caia's eyes. Her red eyes are clearly bright but it feels like they will be sucked into the abyss when they look at her longer.
"It feels as if it's only yesterday when I first met Mathilda. And I will do what I have done again," she added.
'So even immortals can't see through me. That's good,' Caia thought.
"Eyes are the windows to your soul. Your bright red eyes hides something akin to an abyss. You are like a black orchid." After that, the flower she described appeared on her palms.
It's a flower existing in the mortal world she belongs.
"An orchid?" tanong niya.
"Yes, Caia. It signifies mystery, the unknown and the unseen. You clearly embody these traits. But it is of course, not all of that. Black orchids also associate with elegance, sophistication and a symbol of hope and resilience. You are a tough character Caia," the Goddess answered.
'Am I?' she thought.
