Ch. 13 - God's Wrath

Bago pa makasagot si Mari Gold sa tanong ni Amor Fati ay mabilis na lumapit ito kay Caia. He knew she came to visit the Goddess of Flowers but he isn't aware that she would have her first battle as an immortal today. When he attempted to help her, she waved her hand and forced herself to stand straight. If only her appearance isn't a mess, he would have believed her act.

Caia is a person who don't want to be saved like a damsel. Even her two messengers are just simply standing by her side because of her orders. Despite that, he held both her shoulders for support.

"Stop your act, and let your partner help you," saad ni Amor Fati.

Hinawakaan niya ang noo ni Caia at pumikit. Sa isang iglap ay gumaan ang pakiramdam ni Caia at napansing iba na rin ang suot niya. It is a more comfortable white dress, and one with the same design he's wearing for this day. Isa pa, bumalik na rin sa dating mga hitsura ang dalawang espada na hiniram niya kay Claude. It's as if the darkness earlier didn't exist. The arena also went back to its neat and clean state.

Then Amor Fati looked among them without remorse. "Explain yourselves, especially you, Goddess of Flowers. As far as I know, you are the only God she will meet today." He gave a quick look at the God of Fire and then back to Mari Gold.

His words is devoid of his usual strictness yet gentle voice, instead it is full of indiferrence. He's real mad. Mari Gold is one of the people he knew he could trust with the safety of Caia, so the scene he have witnessed is the least of his expectations.

Lumapit nang bahagya si Mari Gold at yumuko. "I am deeply sorry, Amor Fati. This is all my fault for allowing her to get injured in my realm," sambit niya.

Then Caia tugged the sleeve of his robe to get his attention. Umangat siya ng tingin dito at sinabing, "Do not blame her. Ako naman ang nag-ayang makipaglaban. Also the darkness came from me, I don't know why but it is something that happened only to me after being an immortal."

Tumingin naman siya kay Agni na nakayuko na rin. Mukhang nakaramdam naman ito at nagsalita.

"I am just curious about the new Demigod, so I have her fight with my disciple. It's also my fault, I apologize."

He's different in front of Amor Fati. After all, the God of Light is the Primordial's first and his most powerful creation.

'Hmph, what a two-faced god,' Caia thought.

Pagkatapos at bumulong siya kay Amor Fati. "Don't punish Mari Gold. It is Agni, the God of Fire who forced himself into her realm, after all."

Wala namang saysay ang pagbulong niya dahil naririnig pa rin naman ng mga imortal kahit gaano kahina ang kanyang boses. Kahit na ganoon, wala ang nagreklamo sa kahit na sino sa kanila. Ito naman kasi ang totoo.

However, Amor Fati's aura leaked out. Because of that, they could not even stand properly, even Caia.

"W-what--"

Nagulat siya nang buhatin siya ni Amor Fati. Hindi naman siya nakapagsalita pa dahil ang seryoso ng mukha nito at nakatuon ang tingin kay Agni.

"Hindi pa rin nagbabago ang iyong ugali. And this time, you did not think twice even if you seem to know who she's paired with?"

The clouds above darkened and a thunderous clap of lightning was heared.

'Whoa, his anger could affect the weather,' isip ni Caia.

It is this moment that she found out, he's a really tolerant immortal as this did not once happen during the times she's invading his personal space and even touching and hugging him whenever they met.

Hindi naman nakaimik si Agni. His raging emotions is nowhere to be found.

"As your punishment, you will serve your isolation period for one thousand years starting today. Your works will be transferred to your disciples temporarily."

After saying it, Amor Fati raised his hand and uttered words that Caia could not understand. A magic circle appeared beneath Agni's feet, and after that he disappeared from this realm, along with the three people he came with.

Samantala, muling binaling ni Amor Fati ang tingin kay Mari Gold. "If this is still a usual occurence, always report it in my realm through your messenger. As a God, they should be a role model instead of the problem itself," he exclaimed.

The Goddess of Flowers bowed a little and answered, "I will do as you say, Amor Fati."

Pagkatapos ay sina Osiris at Claude naman ang tiningnan ni Amor Fati. Medyo kinabahan pa sila pero wala namang sinabi sa kanila na iba kundi,

"I will bring her home myself. You now can go back."

With a blink of an eye, Caia found herself and him into his room, not his work office but his bedroom. It's different from the one she once slept after the ritual of the Dance of the Gods.

"Is this your main bedroom?" tanong niya at walang pasabing humiga sa kama.

She didn't bother asking why he brought him her as she felt her energy replenishing.

"It is, and you should rest since you wasted the energy I gave you," he uttered, his arms crossed.

She did not say anything and instead burried her head in his pillows. But as soon as she did that, his gentle scent whiffed her nose. Her face went beet red and quickly removed all his pillows on her side of the bed.

'I can't believe I am losing my composure because of a person's scent!' she thought.

Napakunot naman ang noo ni Amor Fati. "What are you doing?" he asked.

Umiling lang siya at tumalikod kay Amor Fati. The room is dead silent which he found unusual. Worried about the effects of the incident earlier related to darkness, he bent down and put his one knee on the bed. Then he made her face him.

"W-why?" gulat na tanong ni Caia.

'Hindi rin matantya ang isang 'to' isip niya. She just knew he didn't mean any malice despite his bold moves.

He didn't say anything but he touched their forehead together. There's nothing wrong with her body so he can't understand her unusual behavior. Even then he chose to give her energy, more than what he did last time to make sure she would be fine even if she goes into a fight.

Caia almost moaned but kept it to herself when he kissed her deeply, using his tongue, exploring inside her mouth. His hand isn't still this time at the back of her head, instead it carressed her shoulders to her hands and then waist. Then he went to her back.

She felt he's just sending her more energy not just through her lips but also on her back. And his whole body is now completely above her, with one of his knee accidentally between her legs.

'Common Caia, this is just nothing to him, don't lose your poise,' she thought.
