As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting the world in a warm, fuzzy glow, Seungmin stood before a blank canvas. His heart thrummed with anticipation and nerves as he surveyed the empty room, already overflowing with ideas and inspiration. This was to be the sanctuary for his little one, the place where they would grow, laugh, and dream together. The apartment he shared with his boyfriend, Hyunjin, was small, but he was determined to make the most of every inch. He reached for a brush, dipped it in paint, and began to dance across the wall, translating his dreams into colorful strokes.

The nursery took shape before his eyes, a whimsical wonderland of pastels and soft fabrics. A crib, painted a sky-blue hue, stood in the center of the room, adorned with a fluffy white comforter and a mobile made of delicate, hand-painted clouds. Beside it, a rocking chair beckoned with open arms, its upholstery a soothing lilac. Bookshelves lined one wall, already filling up with stories that Seungmin had read aloud to his growing bump, and a cozy glider sat beside a window, allowing for lazy afternoons of watching the world go by.

As Seungmin worked, Hyunjin lingered in the doorway, watching him with a mixture of awe and love. He couldn't help but feel a surge of protectiveness, wanting to shield his partner from any harm. "You know, Minnie," he said, using the nickname he'd given Seungmin, "you shouldn't overwork yourself. The baby might get sick."

"Sorry, Hyungie~" Seungmin replied, tilting his head cutely. He knew Hyunjin meant well, but he couldn't help but feel a little guilty for neglecting his own health. "I'll try to take it easy, I promise."

Their eyes met, and in that moment, they both knew they were in this together. No matter what challenges lay ahead, they would face them as a team, their love for their child the unbreakable bond that would carry them through. As Seungmin continued to work on the nursery, he felt a sharp pain in his stomach.

"Ah!" he cried out, clutching his belly. Hyunjin rushed to his side, instantly worried. "Are you okay, Bunny?" he asked, his voice trembling with concern. Seungmin could see the fear in his eyes and felt a stab of guilt for not being more careful.

With a deep breath, Seungmin nodded, unable to speak past the ache in his abdomen. Hyunjin didn't hesitate; he scooped the younger boy into his arms and carried him to their shared bedroom. Once there, he carefully laid Seungmin down on the bed and began to soothe him, stroking his hair and rubbing his back.

"Is it better if I kiss your belly?" Hyunjin asked softly, his lips curling into a smile. Seungmin nodded, and the older boy leaned in, pressing a kiss to the exposed skin. He kissed his way up Seungmin's stomach, growing more and more attentive with each stroke of his lips. When he reached the center, he paused, looking up at the younger man with a mischievous glint in his eye.

"You know what might make you feel better?" he teased, dipping his tongue into Seungmin's belly button. Seungmin giggled despite the pain, feeling the tension begin to ease from his body. "Mmmm," he moaned, arching her back into Hyunjin's touch. "That feels so good."

Hyunjin continued to lavish attention on his belly, kissing and licking his way up and down, all the while murmuring words of love and encouragement. He couldn't help but feel a surge of protectiveness over the life growing inside his partner. As he kissed Seungmin's navel, he thought about the tiny hands and feet that were forming, the perfect little ears and nose. The thought was both awe-inspiring and terrifying at the same time.

"I promise to take care of you, little one," he whispered, pressing a soft kiss to Seungmin's skin. "I'll be the best father you could ever ask for." The baby kicked twice to respond. "She likes you, Jinnie," Seungmin said, beaming.
