Chapter 33

"MISTAKES"

Peter didn't know why but he hadn't talked nor seen M/n much these past few weeks. Sure he saw glances of the (h/c)-nette here and there in the halls bit he could never seem to get to him on time. It was like whenever Peter tried to go towards M/n he'd turn a corner and suddenly disappear into thin air, which was weird. Peter didn't know why M/n hadn't tried to come up and talk to him but he just brushed it off thinking that M/b was just busy.

Nonetheless Peter carried on with his normal routine, and as the days passed and with each day that passed it seemed like M/n had no interest in talking or interacting with Peter. He tried to think of any sort of reason why M/n might be ignoring him but nothing came to mind. He tried approaching the male multiple times but with none of his attempts ended up in success.

He didn't know why M/n was like this, it was like he was avoiding him, ignoring him? Maybe he was just in a bad mood about something. He wanted to know what was going on with the boy so he decided to make a full proof plan to get M/n to talk to him and not to disappear around wherever they were.

It was a Wednesday and Peter finally got the opportunity to talk to M/n so he took it quickly walked towards the boy. He was by his locker so he couldn't het away this time. Peter was just about to reach the boy when someone walked in front of Peter making him stop abruptly from walking forward. After the person had walked away Peter looked back at the spot where M/n was standing just two seconds ago which was no longer there.

Peter couldn't believe it because he was there just a second ago, how could he have disappeared in under just a second or two? He clenched his fists and grit his teeth in slight disappointment and anger but he was determined to talk to the h/c boy.

(h/c) = (hair color)

Peter had tried to talk to M/n for the rest of the week but to no avail, yet again.

He was so frustrated on why M/n wouldn't talk to him or even look at him. There had to be a reason for his behavior right? But what was it, what made M/n avoid him for so long and why? Peter pulled his hair in anger and grunted as he tried to think what might've happened to M/n.

'It doesn't make any sense! Why won't he talk to me?! I can't think of anything that would make him upset! Last time we talked we were fine and all of a sudden he starts ignoring me..' Peter sighed and looked at the ceiling of his room as he sat on his spinning chair, trying to figure out why M/b was acting like this and what he could possibly do to fix this situation.

He decided to retract his steps.

Last time they spoke was over a month ago.
One month ago they were at school, he went to the bathroom and M/n also went to the bathroom and trapped him between his arms which now he thought about it was slightly embarrassing..
Then M/n asked him to hang out, he agreed, they talked and then walked home together-

'Wait.'

Peter stood up from his chair while looking off into somewhere after slowly realizing something.

M/n asked to hang out. But when? He doesn't remember going out with M/n.

Peter thought more and remembered that they were supposed to meet up on Saturday. But he hung out with Liz on Saturd- oh.

It suddenly clicked when he remembered.

He didn't show up to the hang out. Instead he went out with Liz and ditched M/n to go out with Liz and didn't tell him.

'Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh.my.gosh. What is wrong with me?! I ditched him to go out with Liz! And I didn't even bother to tell him or apologize for not going! That's why he's ignoring me. . . So stupid.' Peter thought blaming himself for his stupid actions and started thinking of ways on how to apologize towards M/n.

And maybe the fact M/n didn't know that he went out with Liz nade the situation even worse because if he did know things could get ugly. He didn't know why but M/n didn't like Liz but Peter did. M/n always complained that there was something off about Liz, but Peter couldn't see it. He had a crush on the girl since Junior year and it had stayed there till now.

But he shook his head to get rid of the thoughts of Liz out of his mind because that's what had gotten him into this mess in the first place. He paced around his room trying to think up a way to make it up to M/n so he could stop ignoring Peter and disappeared off to who knows where when he got too close.

Peter sighed and looked outside when an idea popped into his head. If he couldn't catch M/n on the ground...what if he caught him while in the air?

Peter thought about his plan before setting it into action. He wasn't sure if i'd work but it was his last solution to try and get the h/c-nette to talk to him.
He was desperate and wanted to apologize deeply to M/n about not showing up to their agreed meet up, and instead went out with some girl he had a crush on and ditched him.

Peter tapped his chin and bit his lip anxiously at his plan but he decided to stick with it of he wanted to talk to M/n.

Though he hadn't talked to M/n be could see something about M/n change..he couldn't point it out but he could tell M/n wasn't exactly the same but he'd have to figure that out some other time. Right now he had to focus on his plan to get M/n to talk to him.

He would do anything to make the boy talk to him. Peter wanted to hear his voice again, talk to him again, look at his eyes again...he missed M/n dearly so he wanted to make sure his plan would work.

It had to.
