'Today is the day!' Was the first thing Peter thought when he woke up from his slumber.
Today was Saturday and in other words. His and M/n's date at a cafe at 11AM.
Peter checked the clock to see that it was currently 10:30AM making him pale slightly and jump out of bed before going to get ready.
After showering and getting dressed he picked up his phone from the nightstand only to see it hadn't charged. Confused he looked at the charging port to only to his frustration that it wasn't all the way plugged in, making his phone not charged the entire night.
He looked at the clock and saw it was now 11:02AM. He didn't have any more time to waste so he had to hurry.
He groaned and grabbed his phone, charger, wallet and a backpack to put in some 'extra' things in it and rushed out his apartment building.
He cursed to himself of how bad he felt for being late and not being able to tell you.
He sprinted on the way to the cafe and dodged the people who he nearly ran into before running again, occasionally taking a few shortcuts.
He had all sorts of things going through his head while he tried to run faster to the said location of the cafe.
After a few minutes of running he stopped and panted a bit before looking up and seeing the cafe that you two had agreed to meet. Though he was just across the street. He could see you from the window of the cafe that you were sitting in a booth by yourself while scrolling on your phone, most certainly waiting for him to arrive. He smiled unconsciously to himself at the sight of you and looked both ways to get ready to cross the street.
He was just about to cross when someone called out his name.
"Peter!" Someone yelled making him freeze in his spot. He knew that voice yet he couldn't remember who it was. Why was the voice so familiar?
"Peter, hey!" The person said now next to Peter.
He looked to the side to see....Liz.
His crush Liz. Liz from school. Liz, the girl that's a grade above of him. Liz, the one he liked.
