As the morning sunlight filtered through my window, casting a warm glow across my room, I couldn't help but smile as I remembered the events of the previous day.

Despite how early it was, my thoughts were still consumed by the moments I'd had with Grayson.

I moved through my morning routine, the memories of our time together lingering in my mind like the sweet aftertaste of a delicious dessert.

I got dressed into a denim skirt and a stripped sweater with my birkenstock shoes.

I let my curls fall down, along my back.

I settled down at the kitchen table, the air smelled of freshly brewed coffee, and warm pastries filled the air.

"Well, you see happy this morning." Mom says, offering me a coffee with chocolate filled crossiants.

"I am." I said, smiling.

Jayden and I were in the car now, driving to school.

"Mom, tell me you went on a date with Grayson yesterday?" He asks.

"Yes, and please don't start bullshitting me about me being around guys."

"I actually wasn't going to."

"Really?"

"Yes, kie. I'm just gonna ask how it went."He said.

"Mmm...well, it went good.''

"Good. I think he's a great guy for you, Kie." He says.

"I think so too, I haven't so carefree around a guy."

"That's great for you. I'm happy for you."

"Thanks, Jay."

We got to school, and the girls came running to me.

"Spill." They said in unison.

I told them everything. Detail for detail.
