𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐅𝐎𝐔𝐑

"Do you think they actually paid for those?" Audrey asked as girls walked past and thanking Mal for the new hair she had provided them with.  Finn had to say he actually liked how Mal was doing this for the other girls.

"She did it to Jane's hair, too, and Fairy Godmother's not happy about it." Finn rolled his eyes which didn't go unnoticed by Audrey as she slapped his chest with her hand earning a glare from the boy.

"What's the harm?" Ben asked not getting why Audrey was so worked up about this. "It's gateway magic! Sure, it starts with the hair. Next thing you know It's the lips and the legs and the clothes and then everybody looks good and then... where will I be?" She questioned her boyfriend.

"Hopefully far far away from here and locked up in a castle" Audrey glared at Finn who just rose his brows at her waiting for her to retaliate "Listen, Audrey..." Audrey put her hand up to stop Ben from talking "I will see you at the game after my dress-fitting for the coronation, okay?" Ben sighed but nodded nonetheless "okay".

"Bye, Bennyboo!" Finn screwed his face up in disgust at the awful nickname. "Hey, Bennyboo" Finn groaned as he heard the nickname again but he quickly realised it was someone else since Audrey had just left.

"Hi, Finn" Mal smiled at the Buzzcut headed boy who returned the smile. "Hi, Mal" he greeted. "I just made a batch of cookies. Double chocolate chip, do you want one?" She asked Ben as she shook the bag with the cookie in it. "Oh, I, uh, I've got a big game. I don't eat before a big game. But thank you so, so much. Thank you. Next time. Next time." The soon to be kind replied.

"No, yeah. I completely understand. "Be careful of treats offered by kids of villains." Bens eyes widened as he realised how he must have come across "one cookie ain't gonna hurt, Ben" Finn said trying to get his best friend to just eat the cookie so he could stop himself from furthermore embarrassment.

The two kept going back and forth until Ben actually took the cookie and took a bite "see that? Totally trust you. Totally." He smiled "how are they?" Mal asked curiously "They're good. They're great! They're amazing! They're, uh... I mean, they're chewy and, and you know, they... is that walnuts? I love walnuts. I mean, uh, you know, the... The chocolate... The... the chocolate... The chocolate chips are... I'm sorry. Um... Uh, they're... They're warm and soft. And they're sweet... Mal, have you always had those little golden flecks in your eyes?".

Finn was beyond confused at what was happening. From seeing the other three VKs coming up behind Mal and Ben's complete switch in words. Finn looked at Evie who had a small but nervous smile on her lips. He squinted at the girl but she just tried to play it off with a shrug.

"How you feeling, bro?" Jay asked from behind Mal. "I feel... I feel... I feel like... Like singing your name. Mal, Mal!" Finn's eyes widened as they all tried to keep Ben's voice down.

"Okay, we have got somewhere to be. Jay, Carlos" the two boys nodded as they followed Finn whilst he was holding onto Ben who was still trying to sing Mal's name.

"This is a nail-biter, folks. There's 47 seconds left on the clock. We're all tied up. The Sherwood falcons, two. The fighting knights, two. What a game between Auradon's fiercest rivals" Finn was out of breath. He was no way fit enough for this and he was sure he'd end up with some awful bruises in the morning. Especially on his face after the little fight that happened on the field between him and one of the players off the other team.

"I can't do this" Finn shook his head at Ben "you've come this far, man. You can do it for another 47 seconds" Ben encouraged as he gave Finn a pat on his shoulder pad.
