𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐈𝐗

Finn stood looking in his mirror at his outfit for today's coronation. He wasn't like any of the other princes who would wear that fancy royal formal wear. That shit made his skin itch.

So he just ended up wearing some suit pants, shoes and a white dress shirt. It was still formal but just not to the extent that other prince's go to. Today was all everyone had been talking about for the last couple of months and it had been driving him insane so while he was proud and happy for his best friend—he couldn't wait for the day to finally pass.

With one last look at himself in the mirror he was ready to go. He walked to Bethany's dorm to pick her up from there so they could walk together since neither of them had dates. Not that they really cared anyways.

The two siblings stood beside each other in the cathedral as Ben and Mal walked up the aisle together. Finn looked around not spotting the other VKs. He looked across from him and just above was ,Evie, Carlos and Jay on their own. Finn frowned slightly that they were there while everyone was down here.

Evie sent the boy a small smile and wave which he returned but even from the distance they were at, Finn could sense something was off with Evie. She looked nervous. afraid. It left an unsettling feeling in the boys stomach.

"Do you solemnly swear to govern the peoples of Auradon with justice and mercy as long as you shall reign?" Fairy Godmother asked Ben as he got down on one knee. "I do solemnly swear" he agreed as a smile spread on Fairy Godmother's face. "Then it is my honor and my joy to bless our new king".

All of a sudden there was gasps that filled the whole building as Jane—Fairy Godmother's daughter, grabbed the wand. "Child, what are you doing?!" Her mother asked completely shocked at her own daughters interruption and actions "If you won't make me beautiful, I'll do it myself! Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!".

A streak of lighting shot from the wand making everyone let out more gasps. Mal was quick to take the wand from Jane and Finn finally felt some relief wash over him.

"Careful, Mal"

"Mal, give me the wand."

"Stand back!" Mal warned as she pointed the wand. The wash of relief was gone as fear builded up in Finn. He was confused. "It's okay" Ben tried "Ben, I said stand back!" Ben took a step back at Mal's request.

"I told you so!"

"Oh shut it, Audrey" Finn shouted over. "You really want to do this?" Mal shook her head "We have no choice, Ben! Our parents..." she started b it Ben cut her off "Your parents made their choice. Now you make yours".

Finn looked over at the o her three VKs who had came down from above and stood behind Mal. Everything was starting to click into place. They'd come here to take the wand but not for themselves but for their parents. Mal put a spell on Ben in order to get closer to the wand but not for herself but for her mother.

Evie looked at Finn with guilt written all over her face but the boy couldn't blame her. He couldn't blame any of them. Their parents had put this pressure on them because they couldn't do it themselves. Their parents had put them in this position.

"I think I want to be good."

"You are good"

"How do you know that?" Mal asked not believing the boy "Because... Because I'm listening to my heart" Ben said placing a hand over his heart.
