Chapter 1

Summary: Lillian Shay the crown princess of the United Kingdom was on a ride to France, when her ship was suddenly taken over by Louis Tomlinson, the infamous pirate captain otherwise known as the Prince of the Seven Seas.

This situation was one she never would have imagined herself getting into. She was blindfolded with a cloth and couldn't see anything.

The chains that were kept tight remained heavy at both her wrists and ankles. Her position within the dark and damp room was supported with only a single dim candle that hung above in a lantern which she just guessed.

Slowly, she brought one of her weighted hands upward to run through her dirty hair.

Lillian never would have pictured herself in this situation a couple hours ago when she had been crossing the English Channel toward France to begin her cultural studies away from home that would assist her when she get to the throne from Princess to Queen of the United Kingdom.

Now, that was a thought of the past all because of the pirates.

Pirates...

They had come so swiftly within the night, like a lightning strike quicker than you can register.

The ship had been invaded by a swarm of the sea criminals and she'd tried to take cover, but she herself knew that once the ship was taken over, there was no stopping them. She had told them they could take all that they wanted; just spare the ship and the crew along with it.

Not that her words as a royal had any effect on the disgusting bunch.

She'd nearly been killed with a bullet to her throat when Ellie had cried out her name from the arms of another pirate where she had been viciously struggling.

Her identity as Princess had been revealed instantly, and instead of being shot, one of pirate's crew commanded that she be spared.

Just like that, Lillian Shay had been whisked away from her Royal ship and onto the more unpredictable, unknown ship of a group of pirates.

After the lad who had brought her into this room chained her up to the walls, and locked her left, Lillian found herself wondering about a lot of things, especially when she felt the ship begin moving minutes after.

She was probably the only one from that ship still alive.

Everyone else was probably dead.

She tried not to think too hard about it, as the simple proposition that Ellie's lifeless body was somewhere under the waves of the English Channel, was enough to bring tears to her blindfolded eyes... Not only that, knowing how dirty and ruthless pirates could be, her life would more or less likely be ending somewhere along the line.

It was all hopeless.

Who would have thought the Princess of the United Kingdom would be left like this?

Time moved unbelievably slowly within the humid room. Every move the ship took, Lillian could feel and though the waves outside were making her feel a massive nausea from the swinging ship.

She stopped breathing as she heard the chattering of men bypass the door in the hallway outward. The pirates she was dealing with were apparently of mixed nationalities. The voices she heard seemed to be of two males, one was definitely Irish.

When the voices and footsteps died off, Lillian felt herself relax considerably.

Though they weren't there for her, eventually someone would be.
