Hello my dear readers! Thank you for not skipping this part, I truly appreciate it! I just wanted to pop in and say three things:
1. I have a YouTube channel and an Instagram account now! I will post art of my own and Hung By Chains-related content there, including Ai text-to-speech reads of the chapters on YouTube to facilitate reading and make it accessible to a wider audience! Keep in mind I'm not a good editor, so please be kind TwT.
2. I'm excited to announce a Draw This In Your Style to celebrate reaching 1k reads! I'll be providing character drawings of my OCs as visual references for those interested in participating. Feel free to choose any character(s) and unleash your creativity in any style you prefer, as long as it's not Gore or NSFW. It will be posted on Instagram for people who like to draw! You don't need to worry about having perfect technique or anything overly pretentious. Just focus on having a blast and enjoying the creative process! The prizes will include:

- The ability to name a surprise character (It has to be a name typically used on boys)

3. I am truly, and I mean truly, grateful for all of you. I remember the excitement I felt when I first saw the 1k reads tag; I jumped up and down joyfully. I saw it as a huge milestone for me. I've been working on this book since 2021 when I was much more impressionable and inexperienced. I feel proud of how far I've come with your help. There were many times when I felt burnt out, but I remembered how many people read the story up to where it is today, and how much this story meant to the younger me. I am grateful to everyone who clicked on this book, shared it with a friend, and helped me take Hung By Chains to where it is today.
And so, after careful consideration, I have decided to enter my story into the Wattys! It is probably a long shot, but it doesn't hurt to try! I am currently editing the chapters to prepare the book for the awards, but the story is the same as before: I only added a few more descriptions and removed all the images that did not belong to me. (Check Chapter 5: Notes, for example).
Let's now raise a metaphoric toast to you all! To progress, this book, and future chapters. Cheers! 🥂
