"I-I swear, Skafil! She's dangerous; we can't afford to do anything to her! She even frightened me: Kasvald Sutton! She isn't... a regular one!" Kasvald stuttered. "After that, she's probably planning our assassination as we speak! Keeping this up would be suicide!!! Oh, I knew I should've kept my mouth shut and my thirst to myself..." He said, but his panic didn't last long.
"I was so close, though..." The older Sutton sighed, his tone dreamy at the memory of her sweet, perfect scent. "It was impossibly perfect!..." the auburn haired man came back down from his haze. "My God, if I knew it would be so bad for me, I wouldn't have taken part in this!!!"
"End your childish behaviour at once, brother: it isn't going to get us closer to our end..." grounded Skafil as he prepared some injections.
"But you've seen her glare!!!! You've experienced it firsthand!!!" Kasvald exclaimed, full of fear. "Her bone-chilling glare! She isn't one to mess with!!"
"And that is exactly why we must continue with the plan." The analytical brother argued, still not looking at his auburn-haired baby of an older brother. He turned to Kasvald, medical utensils on a small examination table. "From the description you give, it has to be her. Don't let us down now: our people waited for hundreds of years for the right one to arrive... at the expense of far too many of us..." argued Skafil with a tighter voice, remembering his other brothers. Kasvald's gaze dropped to the floor in their memory.
"D-do as you wish, but I will never mess with her again... I don't want problems with her..." the older one cowarded. "No one EVER stood up to us... EVER. It made me feel pretty odd: I now don't have the courage or the will to do anything that could contradict her limits!" He explained to his brother. Skafil listened as he put on latex gloves to commence the mini-surgery.
"So... you respect her?" The blond finally inquired.
Kasvald seemed to pause, full of thought.
"...I respect her boundaries, at the very least."
"Do you believe we have time for that?"
"It'll save us more time than to force her to give in! You know.- We both know how it's going to go!" Kasvald argued, turning to face his brother, his hand going along with what he said. "Besides, no normal human would be that confident to threats unless they knew they had some kind of advantage."
"Perhaps..." acknowledged the other. "...But if something shields her...." Skafil led on, getting a hold of the syringe and preparing the injection for something round with wrinkly skin. "... We'll completely neutralize it." He finished as he put a small hairless rat to sleep.
