The house slowly quieten down as Kaine and Ari left the house. Just in case, I went outside to check before coming back to my room. I slept lightly the night before, so that I will be alerted if Kaine and Ari did anything.I heard that they were going to the werewolf's house to find some more information on the prophecy. This was not part of the plan. I need to update Mictian on the situation here, then figure out how to keep Ari from finding out about the total truth. She's a smart person, and she won't just let it go. I took out my phone, dialed Mictian's number and waited until he picked up.

"Mictian, we have a problem."

I woke up to a well built chest in front of me. I tried to sit up but a muscular arm was wrapped around my waist and there was a weight on my hair. What The Hell? Then it all came back to me. The library. Kaine and me. I smiled to myself as I remembered what happened yesterday. No doubt, it was the best I night I ever had. I looked up and saw Kaine still sleeping. His eyes laid shut while his head was buried in my hair. He looked so peaceful and cute. I reached out and move a lock of his hair that has fallen on his forehead. Then, I felt a hand snaking around my waist and suddenly I was staring into a pair of emerald green eyes.

'Hey beautiful.' Kaine said,nuzzling my neck. I smiled, briefly closing my eyes. No prophecy. No powers. No problems to solve. Just....us. Kaine must have sense it, because he placed his finger under my chin and lifted my gaze to him.

'Hey.... Do you....regret yesterday?' Kaine asked hesitantly, his face uncertain. My eyes widened and I immediately shook my head.

'Yesterday,was the best night I ever had. I could never regret it. You make me feel complete, happy, safe. I might not show it, but I can't live without you. Not now. Not ever.' My hand stroked the side of his face, as I see his emotions flash from one to another. Happiness, Pride and lastly, Love.

Love.

Such a powerful thing. It can bring you strength or tear you down.

Kaine placed his lips on mine, making me forget everything. Even my own name. Only him. Only he can do that do. His hands starts to trail down my back, giving me shivers.

I let myself go and kissed him back with everything I have. Just this once. Let me enjoy the happiness that could never be mine.....

'Wait, I have a plan. Since they are already investigating it, I'll just give them false information and lure them into our trap. Yeah, I'll update you when it's done. Bye, Mictian.'

Mictian? What is Jace doing with him?

I'm gonna make my chapter shorter, so tt I can update more frequently and well,we are progressing too fast into the story. but we only have like 11 chapters.
