That Bastard! What is he doing here? Wait, Jace was the one to knock me out. Mictian is here....

They are working together!

When I get out, I'm gonna rip that traitor from limb to limb!

I leaned against the wall, trying to give a casual vibe while I watched Mictian like a hawk. My plan of trying to knock him out and run won't work. Other than the fact that he is a lot older than me, my powers are now on lock down.

 "Why are you here?" I asked, as I watched Mictian mystified two chairs with a wave of his hand. He took a sit and motion for me to do the same. Sitting, I looked at him warily, on guard, in case he tried anything. Not that it would help, but it makes me feel better.

"I know I'm not your favourite person right now." Mictian began, and I snorted in agreement.

"But, I have use of you and Ari's friend, Jace is kindly helping me.'

I knew It! 

'I believe you know who Cara is. Your mate's witch friend. She is currently doing a spell to find you, upon your mate's request. I'm sure she will be able to locate you soon."

I look at him suspiciously. 

"Shouldn't you be trying to stop them? What are you planning, Mictian."

"Well my dear son, I'm planning to use you as bait to lure Ari here. Do you know where we are? This dungeon is even older than me. Come now, I didn't sire a stupid son. Think."

The prophecy. The powers. Skyelynn married Amun, then got trapped in the Winter Palace.

"You're going to lure Ari here, because the powers are trapped here." I breathed, realisation hitting me.

"Bingo. I have to go now, but I'll be back." Mictian said, before disappearing.

Shit.

I paced around the room as I watched Cara do the spell. My hands keep clenching and unclenching  nervously as I waited for Cara.

Please be fine.

I sent a silent prayer. Then, Cara sucked in a breath and the howling wind stopped, 

"Well?" I demanded impatiently.

"Gee, I'm fine Denise, thanks for asking." Cara said sarcastically.

I gave her a sheepish smile before asking her again.

"The good news is, I know where he is. Bad news is, the place he is being kept is the Winter Palace."
