For this part, let's take my old story as an example.
In the story, Bethany Frank is a 19 year old who was forced to live with an unknown band because her father went to a business trip.
First of all, ew.
Second of all, ew.
So, I'm gonna go and take a paragraph from it and try to see what the problem is:
"Beth, in case you're forgetting, I'm a boy. Being shirtless is different from being naked. You wouldn't want that, would you?" I asked with a huge smirk on my face.
The answer is:
That's sexist and a boy shirtless in front of a girl is one of the most overused crap. Like, I get it that you have a steaming hot body, but do you really have to strip in front of the girl?
All I'm trying to say is that we shouldn't always use these common ideas. I get that it adds to the romance factor, but try to twist it your own way this time.
Adios!
