Basically, if you didn't know already, writer's block is when you run out of creativity and inspiration to write for a period of time and I'm just writing this because I don't know what to write next in the book I'm currently writing.

HERE ARE JUST SOME THINGS I TRY OK (BY THE WAY, MOST OF THESE ONLY WORK FOR BOOKS WITH A SPECIFIC SHIP):

1. listen to a song that has a story behind it or a certain phrase that you feel is related to your otp then you can relate a chapter of the story to it.

2. stare at the ceiling and close your eyes. now imagine your otp doing cute things together. think of a situation that will lead to that moment. write.

3. write an outline for the chapter you want to write and save it for next time when you're in the mood to write.

4. before you write your story, i suggest you plan out a super amazing ending so you would get excited to write everything in the middle and so that you would want to finish writing faster to write that super amazing ending.

5. otpprompts on tumblr?

HOW TO ACTUALLY ENJOY WRITING:

1. talking to yourself while writing works (ex. *types something* "Yeah, that sounds nice, right? Wait, no, I spelled that wrong.") it'a kinda boring to be silent all the time.

2. LISTEN TO YOUR FAVORITE ARTISTS' INSTRUMENTALS MMM.

3. play around with different words you're not that much familiar with (and it actually helps your vocabulary).

4. try to research terms (ex. "WHAT IS THAT TRUCK WITH THE CARGO CALLED") gotta love learning.

5. eat while you do it.

6. don't write when there are other people around because they might distract you from actually writing what you actually wanted to write.

7. in my opinion, i enjoy writing better if the keyboard has clicking sounds because it sounds like effort honestly.

8. make your character joke around more, nobody likes a boring person.

9. write what you think could make someone go "mm good shit."

THAT'S IT, HAPPY WRITING (and maybe request a chapter that'd be helpful to you or just everybody in general)
