thAnks @jackhammings for this idea thing

here are five or so ways u can stay attached to ur books

1. make the story more malleable aka a slight change won't change the original plot line whatsoever

WhY: sometimes u get stuck in a specific area in ur story and u go like "now what??" so it's better if u can add in some random chapter that u will have fun writing and will still progress the plot in some way

2.( if u haven't written in a long time) re-read what u wrote before to really absorb the vibe of the book

3. this is weird but just read other people's books and be inspired by their writing

4. find a plot line you would really write (ask yourself "is this a plot i would write a whole book about?") if ur still unsure, build on it until you decide that it would make a good book

5. imagine this: someone else was writing your book, how would u want the person to write it?

6. don't limit the story to just the main characters, make the others have character development too

a good example of this is the anime haikyuu and it doesn't only focus on the main characters' personalities and how they've changed throughout the episodes, but it also shows the other characters and how they learned to work together and all that stuff

it's great, watch it

7. jUst let loose man let ur creativity flow
