What do you think is the best kind of description? (in which, descriptive, rhetorical questions, quotes, etc.)
ok so in my opinion, i find rhetorical questions really cool and it's the best for me, but my friend thinks quotes are the way to go. honestly, it depends on the reader whether they find the description nice, so yeah. a person might find rhetorical questions weird, so it varys. but yeah i like rhetorical questions.

Tips on writing good first chapters or prologues without giving too much (how to make it sound good, etc)
ahh yes! good question.
basically the prologue is supposed to make the audience want more. like MORE. to write a good prologue/first chapter, make sure you introduce the primary character/s really well and kinda write the background of the story. foreshadowing can come in the future chapters but for now, focus on description.
this is kinda like what you see in the trailers when you watch something in the cinema. observe it. it showed the characters right? it showed the setting right? it also showed the origin of the story.
dont overdo it ok?? make it simple and sweet with a sprinkle of description here and there. remember, a cake with too much frosting is nasty.
if you execute all of these steps perfectly, you're surely gonna pack a punch to the audience.
