Ayan spends the entire weekend thinking. Thinking about Ray and his feelings, thinking about Akk and his feelings. Thinking about himself and his feelings.

Ray is an enigma. A puzzle most of the time. Ayan thinks of Ray as a puzzle that he does more than once, but when he puts it back together, Ayan realizes that there were many pieces that were not there before, when he thinks he understands it, he takes the puzzle apart and puts it back together again, only to the third time he tries to put it together, he can't do it because the pieces are too many and mixed up; they don't fit together, even if he spends hours trying to understand it.

Akk is much easier to understand than Ray and it is confusing, because Ayan has spent his entire life with his brother but he still doesn't understand him. Akk has his problems, but little by little, Ayan is able to understand him more.

Akk is a book that Ayan learns to read in time. Ray is a locked door and Ayan doesn't have the key.

Personally, Ayan isn't a fan of Mondays, but it was a quiet day, Waree wasn't a pain that day like last time, and Ayan is always happy to get a break from this school.

Walking around, Ayan watches Professor Waree walking in a straight and authoritative manner, until Akk runs up. Curious, Ayan hides behind a pillar so he can see and hear the conversation. Apparently, Akk is not the only one who can spy on the other.

"Professor," Akk calls. "I can talk to you?"

"About what?" Waree asks.

"About Ayan," Akk replies and that gets a lot of Ayan's attention, even Waree's. "He's been acting well lately. Can I ask you to stop punishing him like that?"

Ayan doesn't want to think too much or react too much, because he will go places that he won't come back from. He knows that he is in love with Akk, he is completely sure of that and that Akk seems so worried about him makes Ayan's heart skip a beat.

Ayan isn't sure if Akk feels the same way, he hopes so, but he's not going to get his hopes up too much either and it's best not to think too much.

"What did you say?" Waree says.

"I would like to ask if the prefect club can observe his behavior in his place."

When Akk talks about the prefect club, is he talking about everyone or just him? Ayan hopes it is just him.

"Actually, I don't want to punish Ayan that much. Are you sure you can keep him under control?"

And that takes Ayan completely by surprise. Maybe Waree doesn't think so differently than him. Many times, Waree doesn't reject he answers, because Waree knows they're okay but maybe they're not correct in the way that Suppalo, they wants to indoctrinate his students by filling their heads with shit, or Ayan just doesn't say it in the simplified or bland way that he thinks.

"I am," Akk states. "I must do it."

Waree thinks for a bit before answering:

"He is your duty then. Don't let me down, Akk."

"Thanks."

Akk leaves and Ayan rushes after him. Annoying Akk will always be his favorite activity.

He catches up to Akk in front of the school and stops him.

"What did you just say to Professor Waree?" Ayan asks. Even though he already knows, he still wants to know what excuse Akk will come up with.

"You are following me?"

Well, that's fun.

"Like when you, Kan and Ray followed me on Saturday," Ayan replies. "I think we're even, student prefect."
