When Akk wakes up, he does so in the form of a sandwich, literally. He's lying in the middle of the bed with his cheek resting on Ray's chest and he can feel Ayan hugging him from behind with one leg on top of his hip.

Akk doesn't know when Ray woke up or when he got into bed with them, but the three of them barely have room in the bed. Akk feels strangely protected with these two hugging him, but he huffs.

"Well, good morning, moon", Ray says. Akk raises his head and Ray is with his cell phone in his hand. ""You and Aye looked very comfortable a while ago, hugging each other."

Akk blushes and tries to move away from Ray's chest, but Ayan won't let him get up.

"When did you come up?" Akk asks when he gives up trying to break away.

"An hour. It was cold. By the way, thanks for taking care of me last night." Ray smiles and Akk nods.

"We're friends, right? It's the least I can do. By the way, what time is it?"

"Five thirty in the morning. Keep sleeping."

Akk's jaw almost dropped. So early?

"Aren't you hungover? You were really drunk last night."

"My head hurts a little, but I'm fine. I've had worse hangovers."

Akk raises an eyebrow, that's not something to be proud.

Akk sighs and tries to settle into bed a little better. It turns out that the three of them entered, a little crowded but if they found a comfortable position, it worked. It probably has a lot to do with how small Ray and Ayan are and Akk being so skinny.

Ayan is a louse, clinging to Akk tightly and his breath tickling him behind the ear.

"Your brother is annoying." Akk complains, trying to gently push Ayan away.

"You know, he's not going to wake up if you push him."

And Akk does it. He pushes Ayan, but he only manages to adjust himself a little before having the boy pressed against him again.

"Aye was calm all night. He usually has nightmares."

That gets Akk's attention a lot, so he turns around again and rests his cheek on the pillow, his leg almost intertwined with Ray's and Ayan hugs him around the waist.

"The first time he stayed the night here, he had a nightmare. He was calling for someone."

Ray nods.

"He's been like this for over a year, very rarely can Ayan sleep without nightmares. He used to sleep with me or mom, but... Well, mom works and we're a bit distant," Ray explains calmly and Akk feels a little bad. "Aye seems to feel safe with you, Akk."

Akk blushes and decides not to look at Ray. Ayan sees him as a safe place, why? Akk has nothing good to offer.

Akk is startled when he feels Ray's fingers in his hair and scratches his scalp.

"Ayan usually talks a lot about you in the few moments we don't fight."

Akk blushes a little more. It's possible?

"Do you two fight a lot?" Akk asks, not imagining the brothers fighting all the time.

"Yes, although it's always the same thing, it gets repetitive, but I'm used to it. I'm not going to change my mind and neither is he."

Akk wants to know, of course he does, but he decides to keep that curiosity to himself, despite knowing that Ray would tell him if he asks.

They spend half an hour talking to each other and making fun of Ayan who is snoring on Akk's shoulder.
