Rises the moon. [Akk/Ayan & Akk/Ray]

Chapter seventeen.

Akk wakes up during the kiss Ray gave him and ignoring his internal panic, he pretends not to know anything and rolls over, trying to sleep again.

He didn't expect Ray to have those kind of feelings for him too, Akk maybe had to have expected it from Ayan, but Akk doesn't find reason or reasons why Ray could have feelings for him.

He likes Ray, that's true, but he doesn't like Ray the same way he likes Ayan. Ray is his friend and is important to him, but it's just that. Akk likes Ray like he likes Wat and Kan.

Ray doesn't make him feel the same way Ayan does.

Akk can't sleep that night and feels really bad. First he rejects Ayan and now Ray. He would never have imagined that Ray was in love with him and it hurts him to know it, because Akk is hurting Ray...

Akk really hates hurting the people he loves...

Akk wants to talk to Ray, but he doesn't know how or what to say. How can he make Ray feel better? Whatever he does, Akk is going to hurt him and it's the last thing he wants to do.

He doesn't get anywhere, he doesn't know what to do and decides, for the moment, to forget about this. Maybe Ray will want to talk to him later and then Akk would have somewhere to hold on to know what to do.

When his alarm goes off, Akk immediately gets up to turn it off. He had school and Akk doesn't really feel like going, his head is a mess and his chest hurts from the amount of emotions he's holding in.

Ray says good morning with a smile and there is no indication of what happened last night, if Akk had not woken up, he would not have even imagined that something was wrong, but even if Ray does not show it, that does not mean that he does not feel pain and Akk doesn't know how to mitigate it.

They have a leisurely breakfast and Ray leaves before dawn. Akk doesn't want to let him go, he wants to fix everything and make him feel better somehow, but like everything, he runs away and doesn't.

The bad taste in his mouth continues all morning.

Like Akk was doing a while ago, he ignores Ayan like the plague. The more Akk ignores Ayan, maybe he'll get tired and Akk won't have to think about all the feelings he has towards him. If Akk ignores Ayan, then he won't feel butterflies in his stomach and the undeniable desire to kiss him.

Ignoring a person makes lose interest, but it's hard when Ayan is so stubborn.

While Akk was making his rounds, he received a message from Master Chadok and Akk has had enough for one day, is he going to listen to a scolding too?

Without waiting any longer, Akk heads to the school roof where Teacher Chadok was already waiting for him.

"Did you need to see me, sir?" Akk asks.

"Yes," Chadok responds immediately. "My informant told me that the advisor of that gang of troublemakers is Ayan."

Akk feels a lump in his throat and looks at Master Chadok in bewilderment. It is true that Ayan has been on the side of the three Jums and has helped them several times, even Akk came to think the same thing that Chadok is telling him now, but that is not true.

Akk has spent too much time with Ayan to know that's not true. Also, since when does Chadok have a secret informant? Is Akk so useless at his job that Chadok needs someone else?

"Have you gotten any more evidence? Any videos, photographs or anything."

Akk remains silent, he doesn't know what to say. He had been so immersed in other things that he had completely forgotten to observe Ayan. Although Akk has been watching Ayan, he didn't do it the way Chadok is asking.
