Galadriel, dressed in beautiful white robes, approached me as the bright light dimmed. On her left was a woman who looked very similar to her, only a little younger and her hair was whiter.

Galadriel helped me onto my feet and I looked at my surroundings. I was in a forest, a very ancient forest.

"I am Galadriel, the elfin enchantress. This is my sister, Asena, the witch of white," she said to me.

"Asena," I whispered.

"Rowan, ten thousand troops march to the city of Rohan. We have sent elvish soldiers to help, but I fear blood will be shed no matter the number. Your brave action to take on the white wizard is most noble," Asena said.

"It wasn't brave. It was stupid. It was pointless. My magic is gone and I am dead," I replied.

"You have but a little bit magic left in your soul. Only a small drop, enough to do one last thing. Whether it be move a leaf, start a fire, send a blessing or..."

"Send a blessing!" I interrupted. "I want to send a blessing."

"So be it," Asena said with a smile.

"Aragorn, son of Arathorn. May you be quick with your sword. May your skills do well. May you have a victory and live to see another sunrise. Your future is bright and the throne of Gondor awaits," I said. I watched a small speck of red come from my heart and fly into the air and out of the forest.

Cold rushed over me. My body had never felt so light.

And so, I accepted my fate.
